Rear Bumper Guard Protector for Land Rover Defender 90/110/130 2020-2026

This is a more rigid protector strip versus another one I purchased about a year ago that was soft rubber. I like this one better, especially since it's glossy and easier to clean. As far as it being rolled, I just rolled it back the opposite way, put it in a plastic grocery bag to hold it in a coil and set out in the sun for about an hour. It relaxed and stayed flat after that. Also, learning from past experiences, I wiped down the top of the bumper twice with wax and grease remover and then again with alcohol and letting it dry completely before installing. I've had it installed for two months now and it still looks as good as day one. I will update my review if I have any problems with it. As far as value, it's not the cheapest, but not the most expensive either - but I can't speak to the quality of the one that's a few dollars less, whereas I can say this one is good. Shipped and received fast.

Good quality and pretty easy to install. Only thing I didn’t love was that it came rolled up in a small box so I had to flatten it out with heavy boxes before I could use it. But, I guess with shipping costs these days they probably wanted to save a buck and not charge customers more. All-in-all I’m pretty satisfied.

This rear bumper trim piece is a really nice addition to the Defender. It looks good and matches other trim pieces that came on the vehicle and we've added to the vehicle. The trim piece comes rolled up, and it took several days to get that bend out of it (we laid it out in our warm garage with heavy items sitting on it). Once flattened, it was straightforward to apply. We found that it fit our bumper nicely, so we held it in place exactly where we wanted it to go, then removed a bit of the pre-attached double-sided tape and started sticking that end down. Once we got it started exactly right, it was pretty easy to remove the rest and keep sticking it down. The double-sided tape is strong and is hard to remove if you don't get it just right, so spend the time getting started in the exact spot. Once stuck down, it has weathered a tunnel carwash just fine.

Here is the honest limitation: the protector covers the angled lower bumper section, which is the part that looks good in product photos but is not where most cargo loading damage actually occurs. The flat horizontal ledge at the base of the trunk opening is where luggage, groceries, and kids' gear actually make contact, and that area is not what this piece covers. If your bumper already has wear on that ledge, this will not hide it. If you are starting fresh and want to protect the lower bumper section from scuffs and road debris, it does that job well. A quality piece that does what it is designed to do, just make sure it covers the area you actually need protected before you buy.

Looks good and still on after 3-months. Could be a bit bigger but think they are all the same size.

This bumper scratch guard for the Land Rover Defender is made of a black plastic material molded with a rugged diamond pattern. It seems to be made of the same materials as my factory trim pieces. It measures 44 7/8” long and fits my 2023 defender perfectly. It looks great with the pattern that matches my hood too. It has strong foam adhesive strips that hold it to the bumper and it holds well. I’ve been through the crash multiple times with no issues. Best of all it really does protect my bumper from scratches when loading & unloading the back. Based on functionality, appearance, and quality, this is really a great value for the price.

This rear bumper anti-scratch guard is actually some high quality material! I have put one of these on before and it wasn’t as good as what this one is. It’s going to fit perfect. I’ve already dry fitted, but the only issue is is where it was wound up in the box now it has like a coil spring affect and I’m gonna have to use my heat gun to soften the material to lay it out flat. Other than that, it looks good, it’s gonna fit good, and it’s gonna last a long time because it’s actually some good material.
