Great boots, good leather, very poor soles. 6 months and soles where falling apart.

One star review is for Clarks the business, not the shoes. I love the Bushacre. I had a pair that lasted me 10 years. I’ve been trying and failing to buy a new pair, but every time I order a UK12, I receive a US12 instead, which is one size smaller.Amazon explained that it is fulfilled by Clarks and not them, so the blame is with Clarks.Please can someone from Clarks help me get the right size!

There are only two eyelets which would be fine if the top one was high enough, but they are too low. Compare these with other desert boots - many of which have three pairs of eyelets and almost all of which have the higher eyelet pair further up the ankle. Fine quality. The leather is not as flexible as I'd have expected for a desert boot. In six months, I've worn them once. I wish I'd returned these.

Disappointed. My last pair lasted over a year, but these started falling apart in just four months. Holes in the sole already - really poor quality this time round.
