Mesh routers are expensive but in some cases are the right solution.
This is one of three Mesh routers (BT6, BT10 and the main router), all working fine in our cement Panama home. Tough environment. Brief drop out on my phone as I walk through the home and my devices switches to the closest router.

Easy set-up -- works well with Apple Mac/iPad/iPhone clients
We have Macs at home and have used Apple AirPort WiFi routers for ~15 years. When the main one gave up the ghost recently, based upon Consumer Reports recommendations, we got this trio of Asus ZenWiFi 7 Mesh routers. I wasn't sure how well they would play with the Apple ecosystem, but they were easy to set up and work great. I had no problem supporting a second "guest" WiFi network, also (and it looked like they might support even more than 2 WiFi networks [SSIDs]). I would certainly recommend these!

Stylish
I like how stylish it is. It works fine, but the range isn't the greatest. Having only internal antenna is limiting.

Latest firmware is stable (with some side notes)
After purchasing and returning and repurchasing this system, I am now a fan. The latest firmware is very stable. Don't use the IOT network that is automatically created. Delete it and create a new one. Use the 10GbE port for the back haul if possible. All of the satellite units are hard wired except one. That wireless MESH unit has been very stable. However, it is only used to stream videos. The clients are MLO compatible, but don't push the bandwidth over 60 at their peak. Only one device is being used at a time. You will have to play with the more advanced settings to get a stable MESH. This is likely why some people are having the issues. The default settings work, but after tweaking can be improved. I am using these at 2 locations. Both are stable.

Works very well
The unit works very well and solved a connection issue that I had. However it was not easy to connect it: the model number was not recognized by the web site for en easy installation. Contacting customer service was a great experience as the individual walked me through the installation until it was completed.

Worth the money
Really happy about the purchasing. Setup went fine and the speed and the coverage are great.

Connection problem.
Performed a factory reset. Placed the device close to the main router (ASUS RT-BE9700) and successfully added it wirelessly as a mesh node. It initially showed as connected in the Asus app. After turning it off and moving it to another room, I turned it back on, but it failed to connect. After waiting for about 30 minutes I deleted it from the Asus app, reset it, and re-added it, but the issue persists. My older ASUS mesh nodes have never had these problems. I purchased this used from Amazon Resale.

Asus ZenWifi BT6
This is an amazing router, I was looking for something with robust security and this Mesh router does not disappoint. You will need to go into the router's GUI and setup the security features, if you aren't tech savvy no worries use AI to help you with setting it up properly. This was an upgrade from the tp-link deco (worst router i have ever owned) someone got into my network and it was a complete disaster their customer service/tech support is absolutely horrible. This router made me an Asus customer for life! the build quality is also impressive, i can't figure out why this router has such a low rating on amazon. You really can't go wrong with this mesh router i highly recommend!

Rock solid and excellent no-sub extras
I donโt know what others are smoking, but once you set this up properly to take advantage of all mod cons to work with your latest devices, esp. MLO for your current phones, set up all your devices and computers, isolate your IoTs, and It cooks! Also, use the web interface for maximal tweaking.

It should be better!!!
After a month the router is fine. Two Asus ET9 mesh routers connected to it keep disconnecting intermittenttly. The mesh system barely covers a 2 storey house of 2700 sqft

My old Asus 5300 did a better job functioning as part of a mesh in the basement.
