Great value

This is my go to product and never fails. I use it for my blow torch (also from Amazon) to light my outdoor Kamado Grill. It gets the charcoal going quickly and lasts a good amount of time before needing to be replaced. Happy with this which is why I always return for the same product.

Works very well for the vast majority of most general applications. Did not quite get the 'ultra' high heat I needed for some stainless work that the 'brand-name' achieved with the same torch. But the 'brand-name ' was near 50% more expensive a bottle. So still very pleased with the 'general' performance and cost saving(s) and I WILL be buying these again anyway.

I'm on my second batch of these, work great, only problem I had, it was 4°C and I was running it very high, the gas froze and caused the gun to splutter, but thats the only issue I've experienced.

First it works very well for me, because I cook heavily. And when it comes to char at 4 pounds shoulder of pork before braising because it's pouring outside and I can't light up a BBQ, this does the job...but much better than you think: you see, regular butane that fuels smaller kitchen torches leave soot on my ingredients. I can smell it and taste it. For me, butane leaves a taste of "artificial" charring on the meat. This fuel mix, however, because it need to be hot and efficient, is... clean, compare to butane. And the difference is huge on the meat, especially the fat. It feels like it's been burnt on a regular wood or coal flame. And for me, that's just amazing.

I use these mostly to light the wood burning stove. Very happy with the price as they are cheaper than the local trade supplier. 10/10 I have bought them before but apparently I’ve used the other 4… I can remember using 2…. So perhaps somewhere in my house there are 2 more bottles rolling around.

Did the job

Product arrived a day earlier than expected, it was a very good price compared with toolstation and 10% extra gas per bottle. 453 rather than average 400gms for most others on sale. Not used yet as I have a partial bottle left on gas torch.
