Stomp Bluetooth Page Turner for iPad & Tablets, Hands-Free Foot Pedal

I purchased this product back in October (almost a year ago) for use at my church as a musician (must have for worship leaders using music stand in Planning Center). Works great with the Ipad via bluetooth connection. Love the stability of connection! However, this past weekend I was not able to get a solid connection to my Ipad unless the unit was only about 12-18 inches away, so putting it on the floor was too far and could not turn my pages on my Ipad. I noticed the external antenna under the little rubber cap outside the casing broke off (the rubber cap does come off very easily. I wish it was more solidly attached. This is not a great design in my opinion). I have contacted [email protected] and I hope to get this resolved soon. I will update this review as soon as I get a resolution. Other than that, this is a solid unit. I hope future designs will move the antenna inside the unit completely. I still recommend this product. Hope that helps y'all! Update! So glad I emailed support... They sent me a replacement antenna, free of charge. Installation was simple. Stomp is working just like before. Thanks, Rodrigo!

I absolutely love it! It’s very elegant and easy to use, it connected straightaway with my iPad Pro! And the battery is just astonishing! Awesome indeed, perfect size and respondes very well! And Bluetooth compatibility is key very efficient

I bought the Stomp because I now I have an iPad Pro 12.9. I was eager to put it to good use and have had many opportunities to put it to use. One of the crucial times was an Audition that I had last Tuesday as I did not have the music memorized. It did take some time practice the timing on turning the page, but no more than I usually spend on music learning page turns. This product worked like a charm. It’s not sensitive enough to turn multiple pages which is good and have found that the page only turns when I intend and carry out the action to turn the page. I like the fact that it is encased in medal and seems to be very sturdy. As to the durability, that will be proven as time goes on. What sold me to buy this particular product was a YouTube video of someone running over one of these and it still working and very minimal damage to the unit. I also liked the fact that the Founder of Stomp personally contacts you after a sale and encourages frequent feedback and assures you that he’s there to take care of every need you may have that arises with using this product. I hope eventually to get pictures of gigs that I use this at. I am a Classical Pianists, a Vocalist, and a Church Pianist. I have had opportunity to use it in all of these circumstances and have not regretted spending what I spent to obtain the Stomp. I believe it to be a very reasonable price for the great quality of this product. NOTE: It does take getting used to, but once you get the hang of it it will be second nature. My only issue with Stomp, and this is not their fault, is I’m also formerly studying Organ and well as my feet are already occupied I have to resort to turning pages the old fashioned way. As time goes on I will edit this review.

Third time's the charm! So the guys at Coda have been very accommodating. This final replacement checks all the boxes. Sturdy build, instant connectivity, etc. I do use my tablet for chord sheets and for taking notes, so I use the pause function a lot so I'm kind of wondering if that's been my issue. I'm trying now, to turn the pedal off between displaying sheets and taking notes and I haven't had any issues since! So I knocked a star because of the need to replace it but Coda took care of it quickly each time and now we're rockin!

I've used several bluetooth pedals in the past few years to drive my iPad, and this is the best yet. The AirTurn PEDpro was the worst of the bunch, with wonky raised bumps for turning pages, that made it hard to find sometimes depending on your footwear. The AirTurn DUO 200 was a big improvement, but the buttons / pedals were cheap plastic, and I never completely trusted it. The AirTurn BT200S was another jump in the right direction, as the buttons are metal and "click" well like a guitar pedal. But still the body of the pedal was cheap plastic, and when turned on the power LED flashes a super bright blue that is way too bright and distracting. Now this...the Stomp pedal is built like a tank! All metal construction, with solid buttons that "click" like a regular guitar pedal. All the features are simple and brilliant. My favorite feature is the fact that there is a port to plug in and power your phone or tablet. Even better this power port stays on even when the pedal is powered off (must still be plugged in of course). This is a great feature if you're on stage and access to power plugs is limited...but makes sense as you want to keep your setup as simple as possible, with the smallest footprint. Put the the Stomp on your pedalboard, plug it in, and then your phone / tablet USB can plug right into the Stomp. Easy peasy.

This page turner is solid. It took me some time to determine which foot pedal to buy and then this popped up. The design is solid and the foot switch is silent. I really like how the pedal looks like any stomp box I would use on my rig but has a completely different function. Syncing the box to my iPad Pro was simple and easy. The reason I wanted a foot pedal is because I play outdoor gigs during the summer and the wind can be quite a challenge so I went out and got an iPad but I still had issues with the page turns....now I have the STOMP and those issues are gone. I play tuba on those gigs and the ability to turn pages and still have both hands on my instrument in some tight performing places is priceless...well almost priceless and definitely worth the price of this unit. This unit is new and I haven't gigged with it, but I have practiced with it and taken it to rehearsal. This is a total game changer for me. The quality feels really good in this unit but time will tell. As of right now Coda Music Tech has made me a loyal customer and I am looking forward to more of their products to come!

Maybe 2 1/2 years is all one can expect from one of these pedals. I paid considerably more for the Stomp because it seemed sturdier than many of the cheaper ones. And it's worked fine and reliably until now. It started getting balky over the past couple of weeks, disconnecting from my iPad at inopportune moments - I thought that could have just as easily been the iPad. But today it bricked on me. When I turn it on, the "mode" light comes on, but the power light doesn't (new batter and with power supply - doesn't matter), the buttons are all unresponsive, and the only way to power it down is to take the back off and remove the battery. I'm gonna go for one of the cheap ones now. I bought a smaller $27 version for travel, sticking in a guitar case, etc, and it's been going strong for better than a year, so even if it dies every year, I'm doing better than 2 1/2 years for a $170 pedal. The Coda is all metal and feels sturdy, but sturdy on the outside doesn't matter when the electronics inside die on you. Edit - reached out to Coda and they were able to get it working again. Basically by taking out the battery, disconnecting from AC, and leaving it totally unpowered for a half hour or so. And “forgetting” the device on my iPad. Basically starting over from scratch. But it’s still disconnecting from the iPad intermittently, which is a PIA. Meanwhile, I bought the Donner pedal that’s laid out the same as this pedal and I like it more initially. I obviously don’t know about reliability / durability yet - I like the rechargeable battery and never having to open it up to deal with power issues. If it’s reliable and the battery stays good for a couple years, I’ll consider it good, it’s basically an improved version of this pedal for less than 1/3 the price. But time will tell. Anyway high grades to Coda for customer service - I’ve had good luck with Donner pedals, but I’ve never tried to contact anyone for tech support there…

First off, I paid for this page turner. I didn't get it free for writing this review (although if Coda want to send me a second device, I won't complain... :p ). No bribes going on at all. We play live once or twice a week, usually at churches, and I have amassed several large binders of music. For any particular event, I need to pull out the music for the set list we're playing, and hope that the band leader doesn't call any audibles (I sight read, but can't memorize sequences) Over the Christmas break, I decided to move to digital. I researched bluetooth page turners, and this one was the best solution for me, even though it's not the cheapest. Likes: Battery power, with 9v option. Because, options. I can't see myself powering my tablet from it, but nice to know that I could if I wanted. Build quality is solid. Metal box - I'm not dainty, so I wanted something I could stand on. Availability - The lights turn off after a few minutes, but even so - if I press the button, the page turns immediately. I don't need to tickle it to turn it on before it will respond. Dislikes: Nothing really. I could have saved $10 by buying directly from the manufacturer, but it's only $10. I'm still a happy customer. Notes: Remember that you'll also need software (it doesn't come with any), and a holder. Tablet holders (Amazon Basics are fine) are about $12. For software, I use 'Music Stand', which is written by the same company as Planning Center, and integrates with it. For setup, I put it on my tiny pedal board (see photo). The only reason I have that board is so that all pedals are all in the same relative position every time I need to play.

Excellent product. Connection to tablet was simple, works perfectly and performs exactly as described. Definitely recommend this product.

Really responsive, easy to connect and easy to use. the only draw back is the buttons them selves are quite small and metal and so you can't use this in socks or barefoot as I find it hurts the bottom of the foot. To solve this I put shoes on and I find, with my big foot I can hit both buttons at once which puts it into a mode that can't move pages on. It is robust, works well just a couple of draw backs.
