This cute and soft (part plush, part furry, part rope, and part felt) SmartyKat Bouncy Mouse toy arrived timely from Amazon with another toy, both well protected in a padded envelope. Mine is gray, with pink legs and green hands & feet. Per the reviews the color varies. The thick little head with body together are approximately 3 inches long, and the little dangly legs add an additional 2 inches. If you push the fur close to the body, the toy is approximately 1 & 1/2 inches wide at hips, with the dangly arms each measuring approximately 2 inches on each side. The ring is attached with a knotted cord. At approximately 4.5 inches long, the cord is a little too short to be practical in play with kittens and cats with sharp claws, but could be carefully cut off at the little creature's head if you wanted to remove it. I paid only a couple of dollars for this toy on Amazon, and noted it’s currently being sold at a big box store (W) for the same price. The toy is a gift to be included with others under the tree, so I can’t rate the durability yet, but it appears to be made well. For the reasonable cost, size, cuteness, varying textures, and apparent durability, I have to give this one a rating of 5 stars. If it fails the durability test after gifting, then I’ll edit this review, but it would have to fall apart pretty quickly not to be worth the couple of dollars I’ve invested. A current message indicates shipping in 1 to 2 months, when I click on re-purchase from Amazon, so order with caution if you need it quickly. At the current price, this toy is a good value, so it might be worth it even if you have to wait, and gift it later.

My cats favorite toy for her whole 5 years so far & I have re-ordered several times. Although these are fun toys rhat last for several months, eventually the main seam opens exposing the stuffing - that's when I take it away because I do not want her to consume the stuffing/filler material. Overall I (and Kiki) love these toys and I shall keep providing them for her fun playtime.

The strings is too short for its intended use. However, with the plastic ring cut off, one of these is an essential member of the family. My cat always knows where Mousey is. She likes to take it to the bedroom at night and into the sunroom during the day. So it's an amazing toy in her opinion, but doesn't really work as intended.

These are the cutest little guys and my cats LOVE them.

I love that my cat loves this toy. I saw it around Christmas (less than $2.) and it has become my cat's favorite toy. However I have to say that when she gets gifts she knows they are hers and she didn't want me playing with it. It is suppose to be interactive, but she is just fine playing with it by herself. Because the string part is not very long, I have just left it on and it just provides her another way of carrying it. I was a little concern because when she was younger she ate some parts of the toys, but I am happy to say that it still is all in one piece. She carries it from room to room and catches it when I toss it to her. It has made it to the bedroom at night which is another indication of her loving it. I also have a box that has cutouts and when I put it in there, it is one of the first things to be rescued. It is a great item at a great price and was a great find for my cat.

An okay toy, but the bungee is maybe 6-inches long, with minimal give to it. This kind of toy is meant to tantalize your cat by you bouncing or dragging it, so the 6-inch string might as well not be there at all. I resorted to throwing or sliding the toy, which worked okay but doesn't interest the cats for nearly as long as if it had a proper cord. It's an okay weight for throwing or batting, but doesn't have a noise maker to enhance that method. Unfortunately, it's not as plush or "furry" as pictured either. I normally love smartykat products, a LOT of them have passed through this cathouse. But this one is sort of a dud.

My cats haven’t used them as much as I had hoped however, all cat parents know that when it comes to cats nothing is a given. I’ll just keep moving them to different spots and, putting the scent of catnip on them in hopes that they will enjoy them. If not, their still cute danglies for hanging.

Randomly selected but as cute as the sample. Nice but my cats chewed the ring off the first night. Now it turns up all over the place. The ring that is. It's getting good mileage but I think I'm the one who likes the critter best.

My 4 years old cat like this toys a lot. The fishing rope were too far from my hands and making him lose interests, other toys were too close to my hand he would bite me instead, but this toy just have the right length to keep him engaged without biting me!

The string is a little short so it’s not great for when my cat is really hyper as she sometimes gets my hands with her nails. Would recommend for calm play sessions!
