Question 1

I just got this and screwed in the handle. Went to put it in the caddy in the bathroom and it won't close...it's stuck open. Any advice?

Accepted Answer

I had to shave down part of the plastic. Mentioned in my review. Just can’t remember exactly where. Took it apart and after some tinkering figured it out. Try some trial and error and hopefully you can get it working for you. Been working fine since, even though I (we) shouldn’t have to have fixed their mess up.

Question 2

how do you clean this?

Accepted Answer

Actually, I regret buying this. It is not sanitary at all. You have to pick this up off the floor & clean this by hand with a soapy cloth in a bucket. You could use Clorox wipes, but I think that would be a bigger mess & you’d need to use a lot of wipes.
The hinged butterfly-open design is terrible. You need to use your hands to open it & lift out the plunger. It does not simply open when you try to lift up the plunger. Same thing to put it back in the holder - must use your hands.
I cannot recommend this product. Very unsanitary to use & clean.

Question 3

If I have a plunger already can the holder hold it

Accepted Answer

Thank you for your question. We can only guarantee that our own Clorox plungers would fit into this caddy. Unfortunately we can not guarantee any other brands plunger of fitting this holder. If you have any additional questions please reach out to a member of our team and they would be happy to help you out. We can be reached Monday-Friday 9AM-5PM EST at 1-800-493-2205. Thank you.

Question 4

Is it just mine or does this not close as advertised?

Accepted Answer

Hi there, the base should close when placing the plunger on it for storage; if this is not happening, please email us at consumerservices@bradshawhome.com, and we would be happy to assist you in getting a replacement.
