I used this the first time and left it on for the recommended 25 minutes. Ok coverage, but not great. Then I read a review that said she left it on for at least an hour and results were much better. So, I gathered up colorant, a disposable shower cap, a glass of wine, and a Netflix movie (about 1 hour 15 minutes). Perfect results!!! I'm a natural blond, and my hair went platinum instead of grey so I'm starting with essentially no color in my hair. I got the exact color on the bottle, and after a month it's lightened up, but still a very nice natural looking blond. I will be doing this again!!!

OPEN, POUR and RINSE!EASY TO USE AND WORKS GREAT WITH NATURAL HIGHLIGHTS. No mixing. You're no longer using an entire box for a few weeks growth or touch up. Touch ups never look natural or colors don't match. This covers the grays BUT some stay lightly covered which gives an absolutely natural HIGHLIGHTS effects. No separate or additional treatment necessary for highlighting darker or lighter tones. This does it. Looks natural and easy to use. Doesn't stain hands but wear gloves in case. Only thing as with all of these hair colors, go with a color 2 times lighter than you think you want for a final result. Bottom line.....it's easy to use and looks so natural. Lasts as longer as the demi because it all depends on how fast your hair grows. Works best on damp hair.

I have salt and pepper hair and just didn’t like it anymore. Didn’t want permanent hair color so I thought I’d try this in sand blond and I love it!

Total garbage. Didn’t even cover any of my blonde highlights. Turned a gross dingy reddish hue when I used sand blonde. Pulled way too warm.

Finally, a color that doesn't damage my fine hair! I've tried many others, but this is the best for me. I love how my gray looks.Update: While I still love how my hair looks, this product unfortunately caused dandruff. Because of that, I am switching to their Moisturizing Color line.

Sandy blonde is a new color, NO RED!! I love clairol advance grey semi permanent color since I perm my hair. So.much better than chemical colors. Also great is with no processing you can reuse bottle a few times.

My hair has been DESTROYED by bleach, and I needed a gentle way to go darker. I chose sand blonde, but probably should have gone a shade lighter. My hair IS darker, but has a yellow, slightly green overcast that's not the most flattering. Not sure if my results are because my hair was so overprocessed. I will be washing with Dawn dishsoap to lighten it some, and probably a round of purple shampoo!

This was my first time trying semi-permanent color. It's zero-damage so that's what I needed. I have long dark brown hair with silver and white strands and on the sides, mostly. It worked great! The color is better than I hoped for. I know with regular use, my hair will slowly become blonder as the silver hair grows more and more.

Love this for when my roots are growing in, and I don’t feel like permanently dying my hair just yet. These my hair, nice and conditioned.

Definitely not as cool toned as described in the product hair swatch, but it does leave a nice bronde color. It could have been a result from the level of my blonde hair.
