The print is very small but readable

This Bible is exactly what I have needed for so long. Like many I struggle with reading the Bible on my own and need structure. I did an alpha course last year and loved it, and thank Nicky and Pippa for this brilliant Bible, I use the Bible in a year app along with it. This is an essential part of my day to keep me close to God and on the straight and narrow!

If someone had told me this time last year I would be in the midst of reading The Bible in one year I would have said ‘eh?’ Having only found God last October, reading the Good Book in one year sounded like a challenge I couldn’t wait to begin. I had seen this version recommended by others in social media groups I am in and I wasn’t disappointed. It’s a good size, but not too big, the book itself feels lovely with a soft brush style rubber cover. The pages feel a good quality and you aren’t worried about accidentally ripping any of them. Plenty of space for notes and drawing, I haven’t personally done this as I have a separate journaling Bible. Overall well worth the money

Beautiful- I wanted to understand and read my bible more. This Bible is perfect for understanding the bible… and easier to pick up to read. And great value for money. The writing might be a bit small for those who’s struggling to see a smaller print.

Excellent bible verses vary instead of just reading verses in order, but I like that you have a different variety. This isn’t my only bible and it was mainly purchased to enable me to read the bible fully in a year. Good space to Journal and the sides.

An sich wirklich super, aber sehr klein von der Schrift. Bis ich keine geeignete Lupe (meine normale Lesebrille reicht da nicht) habe, würde das Buch weiter im Schrank stehen.

I'm madly in love with this Bible. Since January my friends and I have been doing the Bible in One Year Bible Devotional plan that goes with this Bible on the Youversion Bible app and I have loved it. So much that I wanted a hard copy. Unfortunately this is just the bible plan without the devotional portion, which used to be sold separately but currently is unavailable. What I love about this bible plan is that the portion of psalm or proverb, NT and OT passages all have a theme and they are not in their entirety but just the portion that fits with the theme. If you don't have the devotional that accompanies this you might miss the theme but in the devotional Nicky makes it quite clear. I love that it's not an entire passage for the sake of just reading large sections but that they all go together, clearly showing God's intentionality and consistency throughout the entire bible. At times the plan also goes out of order from a typical Bible reading. (For example in most bibles Jeremiah comes directly fter Isaiah but here we read Isaiah then some minor prophets and then back to Jeremiah.) Additionally, I absolutely LOVE the (faux?) red leather cover, the lay flat pages and the wide lined margins for taking notes. It also has two ribbons for page markers rather than just one. This is not a bible to take to church or to use for the study of a particular Bible book as it isn't set up to easily locate particular scripture, it is a daily plan Bible to read throughout the year. I highly recommend this Bible but I also recommend you don't miss out on the devotional and find the plan in the YouVersion bible app. You can read the devotional in the app and then the bible passages in the hard copy of the bible. (I've been finding I get more out of the hard copy when I can underline and take notes more easily than when I read in the app.)
