Several years ago, fed up with cartridge shaving not being close enough because of whiskers sticking between the blades, I switched to single-blade shaving — A close shave, but cumbersome and at times bloody. Gillette has solved that dilemma with its new “Lab” technology.

Blades are sharp and rinse out nicely. Better that the normal 5 blade Gillette blades.

The media could not be loaded. Looks and feel nice! The travel case it’s so soft to the touch and it has a ventilation where the knife goes that it’s great to prevent damage due to humidity. The only bad thing it’s the packaging! When I opened the box the knife handle looked used until I notice it’s the box sort of card box small portions. Also where the handle goes inside the box left some marks on it and it’s sad since you are expecting product to be in 100% quality.

Does this razor leave my skin as smooth as if I had waxed? YES. With no knicks or razor burn? Also YES. Am I devastated that I know this is a reality and that replacement blades are so much more expensive than I was paying previously? YES x 1000. This razor kit is a great gift or stocking stuffer for anyone who wants to remove hair from the face or body, but they might also rue the day when they have to get replacement blades. My only other gripe is the case doesn't have any blade storage, so if travelling and needing to bring a refill blade it's all loosey goosey in my toiletry bag. I will say these blades last longer than typical disposable blades, but they are still needing a change after a few goes.
