Dramamine Kids Motion Sickness Relief Chewable Tablets, Grape Flavor, 8 Ct

I have two kids that get car sick going half an hour down the road and this was a life saver. We recently went on a 2000+ mile road trip over the course of several days and none of the kids felt sick at all, it worked great. They were both a fan of the initial taste but the taste didn’t stay in their mouths for long like some types of chewable tablets do.

I’ve bought so much of this over the years for my kids, and I even use it for myself. This has been a lifesaver on multiple occasions. My oldest can’t be in the car for more than 10-15 minutes without puking, and she also really loves roller coasters; when she takes this, she has no issues at all with getting motion sickness or getting nauseous. It kept her from throwing up on a 10 hour car ride for vacation as well. I forgot to give it to her on our way back home from vacation and within 15 minutes she was throwing up. We got her cleaned up, had her drink some water, and then we hung out at the gas station for a little bit to let her stomach settle. Before we headed back out, she took Dramamine, and didn’t feel nauseous at all for the rest of the drive. I keep it in my house, in my bag, in the car; I make sure no matter where I’m at, I have it for her.

I get motion sick just looking at other people in motion so I have to take dramamine for trips on Amtrak, a plane, or a bus. The problem is I get extremely sleepy with the adult dose. The non-drowsy adult formula is horrendous because it prevents the vomiting but not the nausea and that is simply torturous. The kid size dose is perfect. It works like the adult dose and I only get a little drowsy for about an hour, whereas the regular adult dose will knock me out for up to 2-3 hours. In addition, I can chew theses and it has a pleasant flavor - unlike the extremely bitter adult version.

Great for plane rides! No side effects or complaints from my kiddo about the taste.

Product was received and packaged as per expectations. Easy to open and use. My daughter has only taken a couple of these while on a cruise. It did help her nausea and just overall sick feeling quite a bit. They are definitely effective meds, but as others have said, beware of the associated sleepiness that inevitably follows! I would say relief was probably around 6 hours or so. Overall a good purchase if you really need them for your kiddos.

I bought these chewable tablets for my 7-year-old who gets car sick on drives longer than 30 minutes, and after using them for about 4 months on road trips and one boat ride, I can say they work reliably—the grape flavor is pleasant, my child takes them without fuss, and nausea stops within 30–45 minutes. The individually wrapped tablets are convenient for tossing in a bag, and we've made it through 2-hour drives with no vomiting. However, the drowsiness is significant; my child is groggy and usually falls asleep within an hour, which is fine for long trips but not ideal if they need to stay alert for a short field trip. The effect lasts about 4 hours, so longer journeys require redosing, and the chewable texture can be a bit chalky—overall, it's a great product for motion sickness as long as drowsiness isn't a problem for your situation.

These really helped my 4 year old that tends to get car sick. Before, every road trip my daughter would end up getting sick in the car. Now we give her a half tablet once in the car & she’s perfectly fine the whole time! Such a relief. The only thing I noticed is it makes her get a little drowsy. In my opinion that’s just another benefit since she ends up sleeping more for long road trips. Bonus!
