Kensington locks are the default, most manufacturers build their letterbox style solutions into their laptop cases. Microsoft don't, Microsoft are awkward, Kensington still have you covered. Ok, I wouldn't use it to lock a motorbike but to add some security in a coffee shop, this is quick, easy and pretty good.

It's better than nothing but I still don't see any good reason for MS not to simply put a hole in the surface casing (other than the ability to sell this lock).It's genuine Kensington and nearly 10x the price of an after market item for a normal computer so it really should be top notch security. it isn't of course as it holds the kickstand to the desk but the kick stand is only held on by 4 screws and quite cheap to buy so armed wit ha screwdriver and a few minutes when nobody is looking and the adequate cable, locking block and key combinations are pretty much useless, if you just remove the kickstand.That said, the cable really is good, the block seems well engineered and the only downside in use of the product is that the key is difficult to operate due to it's being really small and right next to the cable point. All the faffing with the stiff cable, bulky block and the key location means you should open your surface kickstand very wide to avoid accidentally knocking your Surface over on to its screen while attaching and detaching the device.In Summary: Far from perfect from a security and usage perspective but better than no device at all, and compared to the cost of the top of the line surface, the price is ok. For cheaper models, with less desirability and lower replacement costs, its a bit steep.

Si tienes una Surface deberías comprarlo, es compatible tanto con los modelos PRO (todas las versiones) como con los GO (todas las versiones). Viene con dos llaves y puede ahorrarte algún disgusto.
