I saw some videos on tiktok that said that yerba mate is like an all natural “ozempic” dupe, and while thats definitely not true, I found a lot of research that said yerba mate is a really good source of smooth and natural energy and can help boost your metabolism. First things first, the bag is HUGE. Depending on how much you use per serving this will last you forever and based on the smell it’s definitely strong and potent. As soon as I opened the bag I was greeted with an organic, earthy, grassy matcha-esque smell that was very pleasant. I brewed it in warm water along with some lavender buds and the brew was very tasty and not bitter at all. Im usually a sweet drink drinker but since this is supposed to be a healthy alternative to my daily morning juneberry redbull I decided to forgo the sweetener and drank it plain. I enjoyed my first cup and was surprised at how smooth and easy to drink the taste was, I often find plain tea and coffee hard to choke down because of the bitterness but this was very nice The brew was very transparent in color and came out as a pale green liquid and I think this may be due to my temperature, and steep time. I want to experiment with different blends like adding mir lavender, peppermint, and fresh lemon, and I also want to try making it cold brew We will see how it goes!

This is a very good product. I like it very much.

The good: The average leaf size is larger, and there's less leaf dust, than many other brands I've tried. There have been no sticks or stems or other non-tea bits. Mostly good: The tea does not smell or taste musty, plastic-y, or burnt. I'm not sure that it's entirely fresh, but it doesn't smell or taste old. The not good: The taste is not very deep or long-lasting. It isn't bitter, but it also isn't exactly flavorful. There's more scent than flavor, and even the scent is quite light. The OK: The bag is large and resealable, and the price is quite low. Conclusion: I find it drinkable if I use a high tea-to-water ratio, however it is serviceable rather than enjoyable; I make a cup when I'm too busy or distracted to care overly much about what I'm drinking. I won't be buying it again.
