what is the mAh rating for this battery

According to the Duracell website it is 780

I am assuming they or new but what is the expiration date

Mine came dated March 2028 but that is the shelf life date not an expiration, generally these type of cells are given a 10 year shelf life which only means that they should still be good and useable up to time, currently i’m still using some that are dated 2013 in triage marker lights. The dates are on the batteries themselves that i received but not on the factory packages. I measured the voltage of them and got 3.3x on all which is as expected for this type of cell.

Are these duracell ultra lithium cr2 3v equivqlent to devices and rechargeres that take standard c or d batteries?

No they r very tiny batteries used for cameras and flashlights and stuff like that. Waaaay smaller than c or d batteries.

Do these batteries work in the first alert smoke detector?

These batteries work in the First Alert P1000 model smoke detectors, of which I purchased several from Costco in early 2013.
