Great product! Can’t wait to FINALLY have good posture!
I’m so excited about this! Yes, I’m excited about a posture corrector! I’ve had rounded shoulders since I was a teenager, if not before! I have been told by massage therapists that my pecs are really tight because my muscles are so accustomed to my bad posture and that there’s no simple fix for this, like just *trying* to have better posture. When I try to correct my rounded shoulders myself, it’s impossible. But this posture corrector does the work for me! I just got it yesterday and wore it twice for short periods so as not to overdo it on the first day. The sizing guide was accurate as a size small was the perfect fit. It’s very comfortable to wear and gives just the right amount of support without feeling like anything is being strained or forced. It’s easy to put on and you can see when your shoulders are where they’re supposed to be so you know it’s on right. It’s definitely a great quality product and I have no doubt it will last as long as I need it to to correct my posture. I’m really excited for the day when I no longer have bad posture and rounded shoulders. I know it’s taking a toll on my entire spine and this product should definitely help relieve some of my neck, shoulder, and upper back pain!

Smell is god awful... but the concept is sound
so firstly, the smell is awful. A couple of other reviewers wrote that as well and it comes from the factory with a nasty smell. I could not tolerate wearing it for more than a few minutes before I had to wash it. in terms of fit, it fit perfectly per the size. I definitely saw an improvement in how it properly affected my posture. So I know this will be helpful long-term but I need to get the smell out of it. In the pamphlet it even suggests that sensitive people should not wear it on bare skin. I am very sensitive to certain chemicals and I was already breaking out within 15 minutes. I'll update my review once I thoroughly wash it but I have a feeling if the smell goes away and the irritant goes away. That this will be very helpful in terms of affect affecting my posture in a good way.

Great value and well made
5'4" and ordered a small which fits perfect. Compression fractures in lower back and hurts to walk straight up so ordered even though mainly for shoulders but exactly what I needed. Not too stiff like the back brace they fit me with and that brace from Dr. was waste of money!! This one is all I needed. Very easy to put on and material elastic.

Good, not great
I’m still holding out hope for this, and may update the rating, but fresh out of the box there were some things I noticed that were less than ideal. Firstly, the smell. This thing smells awful out of the package, I’m not sure if it’s the factory or what. I didn’t have time to wash it before my shift and regretted even wearing it. I’m also not sure how I’m supposed to wash it, since there’s what I’m assuming are metal supports in the back. Secondly, the fit wasn’t great. I’m not sure if it was user error, as there weren’t instructions, but getting it to stay on and offer support was a bit difficult. I’m unsure what straps are meant to go where, and halfway through the day it kept somehow coming undone. It was also awfully tight in the armpit area, and even over my shirt and bra it chafed pretty bad by the end of the day. That said, I’m looking for support during long 8-10 hour shifts in an active and fast-paced workplace, so I know it’s a bit of an ask. I’ve also lived with chronic back pain my whole life, and used to wear a medical back brace, so maybe I’m subconsciously comparing it to that. I’m going to try different things to make this work, since it seems well-made, and does seem to be effective in helping posture. It may just be a product more well-suited to people working desk-jobs or doing things around the house

Lightweight, adjustable and hand washable
Lightweight, breathable fabric and highly adjustable. I think it might work a little better for people with less going on in the chest- the shoulder straps are nice and wide, but they do tend to collapse and wrinkle when there's too much too much volume up top. (I'm a 38D, for reference). I was surprised, in the end, at how well it's camouflaged under even my thin, pink and white baseball top. Should be no problem under the more structured sweaters, blouses, and dresses I wear to work. Got mine in grey - it's a light, pleasant (for grey) shade. The instructions say to start by wearing 35-40 minutes at a time and increase duration over several days or weeks. Daily wear is recommended for 28 days for best results but you shouldn't wear it for a long time (each day) to avoid fatigue and dependency, when what you're really going for is building muscle memory. I've done this for a couple rounds now, and find it very easy to accomplish. Max time is supposed to be 4 hours/day once you've built up your tolerance. The instructions also say wear is not recommended during running, driving, exercising or sleeping. You should hand wash it, and hang to dry, and keep it out of direct sunlight while drying. There shouldn't be any skin irritation but it is recommended that you wear it over a base layer. Some cautionary statements from the instructions- don't use this if you are pregnant, have circulatory or respiratory disorders, open wounds or dermatological conditions, severe scoliosis, kyphosis or spinal fractures or if you suffer from cutaneous sensory disorders or skin damage.

Left me with bruises
I’m super disappointed in this, especially considering the numerous good reviews. I was advised to wear something like this while I have a hernia until I have surgery to keep extra pressure from slouching off of it. I waffled between the sizes because I’m a small person but have a large bust and ultimately went with the medium/large. This thing is so uncomfortable. I couldn’t get it tight enough around my ribs but there’s no way the straps would leave enough room for my chest between them in a smaller size. The straps are also really wide so if you have small shoulders like me, they fold over on top of themselves. It did help with posture - I was more upright than usual which is good but that’s the only good thing I can say. The material is really stiff and uncomfortable on the skin. I was left with huge welts on my shoulders and underarms that have completely bruised after the first wear of it. This definitely doesn’t seem built for someone with my body type who is quite small with a large bust.
