I always worry about quality ordering toys online but the wood is the really good, soft, finished kind with no sharp edges. A little smaller than it looks in the photos but I could have read the dimensions. Really good quality for your money if you consider it a mini home version of a larger classroom material.

My twins are 23 months and I have a 4 year old (who is in a Montessori school). All 3 of them love this and play with it daily. So perfectly simple and keeps their attention. Only thing, is being that they’re small pieces, I am worried they’re going to get lost constantly so I have to hover over them to make sure they don’t walk off with the pieces. Other than that it’s a great product

I'm using these at home with my 2 year old. They are the same quality as the ones at my 4 year old's Montessori school. They are sturdy wood, and this far, appear to be well made. The knobs are firmly attached and the cylinders fit smoothly into their respective holes. My 2 year old has no problem getting them in and out. I'm pleased with the quality for the price compared to other Montessori - only sites.

The material is awesome, amazing finish and really nice. But a lot smaller than I expected.

This is cute and educational. My daughter loves it. I took away one star because some of the tops weren’t glued in the best. They are sturdy you can just se the glue holding some of them together. For the money though it is well worth it. Others that complain of poor quality should stop complaining or purchase the ones that are much more expensive if they are going to be so picky.

They are pretty good I got them for my 1 year old for his Christmas gift and I give him the simplest one right now and he sits and concentrated on it like the biggest boy. Makes me tear up ya know. But anyways... they are smooth they smell fine some of the pieces are small so keep that in mind for the babies.

This is a mini set of cylinders, so of course there will be small pieces and should be supervised with small children. The product is well made and the various puzzles are wonderful. It is a great way to introduce a Montessori concept on a budget!

The quality of the wood is great how every these could not be used in a infant/ Toddler class of a Montessori school do to the choking hazard because of sizing of the Knob Cylinders. I am a Montessori Guide/ Directress and I had to test the size of the cylinders according to Department of Children Services. The company that made these are off in sizing , and not the concept. Hope that help. You need to keep a watchful eye if you plan to use in a toddler program. I would advise not to.Try ordering from Neiuhus.Thanks
