Every box ticked - well worth the money
Dyson compatible diffuserAlthough I love my Dyson hairdryer, I was disappointed with the diffuser it came with. It did reduce the frizz in my hair, but it had little volume.I saw this compatible product and wow.You can see the prongs are longer and it has given me so much more volume. The quality of construction is very good.In my opinion, it is so much better than the original. My fine curly hair is frizz free, can now be dried quickly and has much more volume than before.

Less frizz.
I'm surprised how well this works, it seems to dry the hair much more gently without blowing it all over the place, thus producing more of a wave than frizz (I have wavy, not curly hair). It does add a fair bit of weight to the hairdryer itself so keep that in mind, it is heavy compared to the old style diffuser, but it seems to work better so it's worth it.The old diffuser produces a lot of frizz that this one doesn't. However, should anything go wrong with the dryer after you've used an attachment that's not a genuine part it will void your guarantee, so it's a risk and something to consider (Mine is outside of any guarantees). Visually they look the same, but who knows what the differences are, I'm sure there's some.I like it overall. There's a bit of play in the magnet that isn't there on the original diffuser.I don't own the genuine part to compare, but overall I'm impressed.

Great for wavy hair
I have the Supersonic hairdryer, but my wavy hair has always been a challenge; standard diffusers tend to create more frizz than curl. This attachment clicks onto the magnetic mount of the hairdryer perfectly, just like the official ones do. I started by using the first mode, which is designed for drying the roots and adding some lift without disturbing the hair too much. It did a good job of getting the scalp area dry quickly. Then, I switched it to the second mode to dry the lengths. The airflow feels much gentler and more evenly distributed than with other tools I have used. It allowed my waves to form and dry in place without being blown all over the place. The final result was genuinely surprising. My hair had noticeably more definition in the waves and a significant reduction in the usual halo of frizz that I battle with. It feels like it gives me a salon-quality blow dry, but with minimal effort at home. It’s a specialised tool, but for anyone with wavy or curly hair, it makes a huge difference to the end result.

Reduces frizz effectively
My partner has been trying to find the best way to dry her naturally curly hair without creating frizz. This attachment clicks satisfyingly onto the end of her hairdryer with a strong magnetic connection. She found it very easy to switch between the two different airflow modes while using it. One setting provides a wider, gentler diffusion of air, while the other creates a more focused stream. She used it on a low heat and low speed setting. The result was that her curls were more defined and held their shape much better once dry. She noted there was a visible reduction in frizz compared to when she uses the standard attachment that came with the dryer. It seems to direct the airflow in a way that dries the hair without blowing the strands all over the place, preserving the natural curl pattern.

The dual modes are very effective
My partner finds that standard diffusers can sometimes be a bit one-note. This particular attachment caught her eye because of its two distinct modes. It connects to her hairdryer magnetically, snapping on securely. She started by using the first mode, which provides a wide, gentle dome of air to dry her wavy hair without disturbing the pattern, resulting in less frizz. Then, with a simple twist of the attachment, it changes into the second mode. This mode uses prongs to get deeper into the hair, which she used to add some lift at the roots and define the tighter curls at the back of her head. She found this versatility very effective, allowing her to use one attachment to achieve a more controlled and less frizzy finish than she normally gets.

Detachable diffuser, great quality
The quality of this diffuser attachment is really good and it doesn’t look or feel cheap at all. I love that you can attach and detach the two compartments easily, it’s a magnetic function. When detached, you can use the dome side for defining the curls and the hair can sit inside it, but the diffuser attached helps spread the air evenly. It’s very easy to take on and off and both ways are good. A great option if you want something more affordable than the branded version.

Great for controlling airflow
My partner uses one of those very popular, high-end hair dryers and was curious about this attachment for her wavy hair. It connects to the end of the dryer with a satisfying magnetic click and feels just as secure as the official parts that came with it. She found it offers two distinct modes for styling. One setting provides a very gentle, wide distribution of air, which she used for drying her hair without creating frizz, helping to form well-defined waves. The other mode is more focused, which she found useful for targeting specific sections and for adding volume at the roots. She was happy with the results, noting that her hair felt less 'blasted' than with standard diffusers and the final style was smoother and more controlled. The attachment itself doesn't get too hot to handle during use. It has become her go-to attachment for her daily styling, effectively giving her more control over the powerful airflow of her dryer and helping her achieve the look she wants with less effort.
