Visually appealing. easy to read. Some questionable foods /risk categories
I am a dieitian so I got this to add to my collection of various educational materials I can give patients. The list itself is OK. There are some foods on the low risk and medium risk lists that are different or swapped compared to the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics or other resources for FODMAPs. But the high risk foods are all consistent with other sources and nothing in the low risk list that would be considered high - although ice cream is on their the medium risk list here and is usually considered high risk for other sources. Only lactose free ice cream would be medium. Also cheese I would not consider low risk, as portion matters and so either low risk if limited to 1 oz or move to medium risk list.Every resource I've seen may look slightly different for the low or medium risk foods due to serving size being an issue. The one I question the most is dates being on the low risk, as I'd recommend a limited portion and therefore place it on medium risk and then also ice cream and cheese.Beyond the slight differences on the lists, the magnet / tool itself is nice and easy to read. The visual is nice. Color coded columns help make it easy to read. Some pictures help with overall appearance and make it more aesthetically pleasing. The magnet is good and can stick to fridges or filing cabinets, even when still in the plastic wrapping so it is a decent magnet for sure. The size is good as it's less than a standard piece of paper and doesn't take up a whole lot of space.I would give to a patient as an educational tool / resource after clarifying a couple inconsistencies of the food lists.

Do your research first
This resource is convenient to have around. I had been having some digestive issues and heard about the FODMap diet and then saw this resource. Great timing! I ordered it right away. I was a little surprised at how heavy it is. Great for many people I'm sure, but the entire back is a magnet. I'm not sure it that's really needed.Of course there's no way all good or bad foods can be put on this small resource, but it's helpful. I would suggest doing some research on this diet, however. After I got this (which I do have hanging up in my kitchen), I was looking online for more foods (you couldn't possibly put everything on here) and only then realized that this is not meant to be a sustainable diet. The FODMap diet, from what I could find, is meant to be used at times when a person has digestive issues to get them "back on track", not to be used as a lifestyle. It would be nice to have that disclaimer on the product.

Strong magnetized fodmap chart with nice design!
This is a great magnetized fodmap chart. The color coding and diagrams are helpful and the designa nd layout is easy to cross-check to make sure you are eating on the right side of things. This is great because of the nice big magnet, lays flat on the fridge and no curls. Thick and quality. No more digging around in a drawer for this information.
