Definitely Reolink!
This excellent for the price! The zoom the auto tracking and the sound is so clear! The video 4k like it says awesome! You can exclude vehicle which really helps so you dont get constant alarms. The app user friendly big time it was really easy to setup. The con I can see is when I get alarms the person is gone or almost gone but it records on que great but a little late on live view. I will try adjusting sensitivity!

Pretty good product
Very impressive, the level of simplicity of setting up the hub and the camera was within minutes if you follow the steps. I had been stalling many Reolink systems but I always stayed away from wireless (personal choice) until now , customer needed surveillance with the least amount of drilling , or running wires and no access to electricity for powering DC cameras. The choice was solar powered . I’m satisfied with the outcome, the signal was strong even though there was quite a few walls from the cameras to the hub. PS: Always remember to write down your password in a safe place sometimes Reolink product will not reset to factory easily even when it says it’s reset already

Nice unit, but dead card... (Will NOT purchase from again!)
It's a nice unit, but another ecosystem for my home... Took a star off because the 64GB card was non-functional; - Was NOT recognized by the unit; - Could NOT format with DiskPart on Windows; - Had to use my own card instead; Follow-up: After 3+ months of trying to get (2) Dead Wireless Doorbells to work with this unit. I had such a horrible experience with Customer service, that I will never try, purchase or recommend anything from Reolink. I know I am just one little voice over the internet, but I can NOT recommend Reolink to anyone based on my experience with their "Customer support", which seems to be only a Title and not actual actions to help resolve issues for a paid customer. Quick example: After I contacted CS, they had me take the unit to a UPS store for return. No issue there, except that I had to pay for Shipping back to Reolink. This is the first tech company that I have had to pay for return Shipping on a defective/dead product, and when the Second doorbell arrived, and died, I had to go through the same experience. It finally got so bad, after email delays and cross-shipping delays, that 2+ months passed, any only offered a 10% Refund on all my purchases: (1) Hub and (2) Dead Doorbells, which in the grand scheme of life is not much, but the principle of how poorly CS reacted to the situation. Is this the ramblings of a angry customer that is venting... You bet! I did IT Customer support for 30+ years for OEMs and VARs, and was trained to make the customer happy. This experience was far from it.

Solid system for the money
Solid system with excellent features and nice software. Easy set up and pairing with WiFi. The only real issue I have is for these cameras being called 4k with 8mp I expected much better clarity in the pictures and video, it’s not terrible, but could be a bit better. Nighttime images are not bad either. Software seems a bit random on alerts to movement and people arriving but I have not fine tuned the settings and sensitivity yet. For the money, I think it is solid. Super convenient not having to run power and the batteries here in California stay 100% charged all day and night. Very easy to add additional units and integrate with your home systems.

A great buy
This is my 3rd one i bought. I am using all 3. Great product. I have one at each place I use the reolink cameras. You need these to use the cameras and the app together. Very easy to add this to your account. I have all 3 on the same app page and all 3 are at different properties. Its also easy to add the cameras to these. It does not come with a memory card. I suggest either the 128 or 256 card. Neither of which I have filled up yet, but good to have more memory than not enough. I highly recommend this company for their cameras. Pay once for the equipment and that's it. No app charges. No monthly charges. I bought the better solar powered video sec cameras. They do a sale on those at times on amazon. I get them then for about 189?? Each. Depending on the size of your house and what your walls are made of, one should be enough for an avg size home. These take about 5 min to add to the reolink app, maybe less.

Reliable, Silent Hub That Ties My Cameras Together — Just Missing One Key Feature
The Reolink Home Hub has been a rock-solid part of my home security setup since I installed it. I’ve connected all my Reolink battery and Wi-Fi cameras to it, maxing out the storage with large microSD cards, and it handles everything without a hiccup. The hub itself is completely silent, which I love — no buzzing or lights to distract. Setup was quick and painless, and once it was on my network, all the cameras linked up smoothly. Even though I don’t use the hub’s built-in Wi-Fi (my coverage isn’t strong enough out back), I still rely on it for centralized recording, local storage, and event management. It’s basically the brain of my outdoor camera system. One of the best features is the event history — being able to go back and see motion clips, audio triggers, or camera activity in a timeline makes it way easier to check what happened and when. No more guessing or sifting through hours of footage. Everything is organized, searchable, and plays back clearly. It’s especially helpful when I’m reviewing nighttime alerts or double-checking deliveries. Plus, the integration with Home Assistant is seriously seamless. I can pull up camera feeds, trigger recordings, and monitor status right from my HA dashboard, which is exactly what I want in a smart home setup. The only thing missing — and it’s kind of a big one for me — is having that event history available in Home Assistant. Right now, I have to open the Reolink app or web portal to see the timeline of events, which breaks the flow when I’m trying to stay within HA. If Reolink added that data to their Home Assistant integration, this hub would go from great to perfect. But even without that, it’s been totally reliable, easy to use, and gives me peace of mind knowing all my camera footage is stored safely and locally. No subscriptions, no lag, just solid performance.

Decent product
Easy setup. Should have paid more attention when ordering. The hub is only good for 8 cameras. I had 5 existing but was only able to connect 4. Not that big of a deal as you can still access individual cameras

Skip the hub!
I had high hopes for these cameras, but unfortunately my experience was disappointing. One camera stopped working completely after only nine days of normal outdoor use. It simply would not power back on. The second camera continued to work, but the solar panel barely kept up with the battery even though it was installed in a location with regular sunlight. I expected much better battery performance from a solar-powered setup. Another issue was the mounting hardware. The included mounting screws are very thin, and during installation they failed, leaving the mounting bracket permanently attached to my deck. Now I have to drill out broken screws just to remove the bracket. That’s incredibly frustrating for what should have been a straightforward installation. I also tried the Reolink Hub and ended up returning it. Since each camera already has its own microSD card, the hub didn’t add enough value for my setup and instead became another point of failure. If the hub goes offline, it affects access to the camera system, whereas the cameras work independently without it. There are things I like about Reolink, but based on this experience I can’t recommend this particular setup. A camera failing after only nine days and the issues with the mounting hardware were enough for me to return everything.

Easily recommended if you have a reolink wificam ecosystem
Reolink Home Hub, Home Security Systems, Expandable Local Storage, UP to 16MP Motion Recording & Playback, Encryption Algorithm, 2.4/5 GHz WiFi6, 64GB microSD Card Included, No Monthly Fee This is absolutely awesome. What does it do? Ability to manage 8 reolink cams and store all 8 cameras' footage into your hub locally. You own the data. Encrypted. The nonpro model (this one) is just a hub that takes 2 micro SD cards. (pro hub lets you connect more than 8 cameras and takes a hard drive instead o SD). It does come with an 64gb high endurance card. I put the sandisk 512GB card in the second slot. This hub allows you add to your reolink ecosystem and associate REOLINK cameras with the hub. Check if your reolink cameras can work with this hub (see the reolink site). The hub can manage up to 8 reolink cameras. It allow ALL reolink footage to be stored to your local home hub (rather than the cloud) thus eliminating the need to subscribe to cloud space --> of course the benefit of uploading to cloud is obviously for the fact that the data is safe from fire and in a different location. The hub connects via ETHERNET to your switch/router. so long as your cameras are on the same network as the hub (same subnet), it is able to connect to your hub and store the data. In fact this hub association with solar powered cameras such as the two that come with this kit, is actually better for batterylife on the solar powered cams becasue the hub manages when and how footage is sent, reducing unnecessary wake-ups and conserving battery. Also he hub acts as a local relay, minimizing power-hungry Wi-Fi activity thus saving battery life as well --> it was found in some forums that you get a huge power savings using the solar power cams with the hub rather than without the hub. Now how does this work when cameras have SD card install in standalone mode and then you join the camera to the hub? what would be the point of keep SD card in the camera itself? Well it acts as redundancy. If network is down, and cannot reach the hub, then footage is stored in the sd card directly in the camera. if your home uses power, and hub is down, then the solar powered battery cams still operate and footage is stored on the sdcard installed in the camera itself. So yes theres still a good reason to keep sd card in the camera itself, even when you have huge storage in the home hub. Something i immediately noticed when using reolink cameras with the home hub is that i can connect to each camrea quicker . Something i didnt expect but was a pleasant surprise. If you have more than 8 cams on your property you could actually buy a second one. Manage two sets of cameras in your home. Example: use one hub for front yard cams and another one for back yard cams. Buying one hub is a nice low cost of entry (compared to the home hub pro which is pricier). Most homes you'd just need one hub. But for more elaborate properties you might either upgrade later on to a home hub pro to get more than 8 cameras... or just expand youir existing setup with another 8 cams with a second home hub. ------------ Anyway, i'm impressed. i absolutely floored by the reolink hub. Thus far i've got nothing but great news on this system. VASTLY superior to main stream camera systems. Adding home hub imo is a total MUST HAVE. It adds a lot of value to the setup for very little cost. Saves you from needing a cloud subscription . I can easily recommend this one.

Wrong animal detection sometimes
Very good quality. Just sometimes it detects human as animal. The solar panel works perfect.
