I don’t know a more delicate way to say it: Sol Liquid Melatonin is so easy to swallow! As a “professional insomniac,” I’ve tried more than a dozen other brands and forms of melatonin. The pills, especially the capsules with the tiny air pockets, are very hard to swallow and send on their way at bedtime, without drinking copious amounts of water and remaining vertical for several minutes before I get horizontal. I discovered melatonin in liquid form and I like Sol brand the best. It’s a mild, pleasant-tasting, black cherry-flavored syrup. You can sip it straight, but I usually mix a complete dropper-full into a glass of water. Its 10 mg strength makes all the difference! Other brands offer only 2 or maybe 5 mg, but those don’t do me any good. I now drink the 10 mg dose in water, 3 hours before bedtime. It does not sedate, but rather helps the brain to achieve and maintain natural sleep. It’s changed my life in a subtle but unmistakable way. I’m very grateful.

This product works very well and I have reordered many times.

I have tried other brands of Melatonin that leave me horribly sleepy the next day. This product does not leave me sleepy. What's not to like about that?

Allows sleep to begin a little faster

I’ve tried several OTC remedies to help me sleep. Eventually, I decided all such products were just junk, yet another way to cheat the consumer. Then my doctor mentioned that her husband uses Solgar brand melatonin, and loves it. So, reluctantly, I bought a bottle of the liquid melatonin to try it for myself. Wow! It REALLY DOES WORK if you buy a quality brand! The bottle says 59 “doses”, but I only get about four ( 4 ) uses per bottle. My doctor said melatonin is absolutely wonderful for the body! It’s an antioxidant, it helps with blood pressure, glucose, lots of things… ALL GOOD! So even though I use it to sleep considerably better… “sleep” isn’t even melatonin’s forté. It tastes fine too. Please note: Most people won’t need to overdo it like I do (ie: I get two to four uses per bottle, while normal folks will get far more), so don’t go crazy with it until you’ve tried it a few times. SOLGAR HAS EARNED MY TRUST! If I need something, and they produce it, I’m buying their brand every time!

This melatonin is the first one that has actually worked for me. (I have tried a lot of them) I sleep much better when I take it and the flavor and texture are both good.

I normally purchase this product from my local health food store but they didn't have any in stock. I needed Melantonin to help me on certain days to solifdify my sleep. Solgar products have always been my go-to and this one doesn't disappoint.

This is the second-best melatonin I've ever tried (after hours upon HOURS of research). The best one (by clean standards) is manufactured by Body Health- it only has two ingredients. But.... Body Health melatonin crystalizes and you then basically swallow hard chunks. THIS melatonin has never crystalized and works wonders. After listening to a podcast by Dr Mercola, I learned you cannot overdose on melatonin and that they call it 'the anti-aging supplement.' It's my go-to supplement before bed (along with progesterone) and I approve of it's ingredients and potency
