Love this powder! Tastes good despite the tongue numbing properties of Kava. Helps me relax during a very stressful time of my life without resorting to alcohol.

It's pretty good. Very sweet but you can mitigate that by just adding more water - make sure to mix in the full 16 ounces. I probably go to 20 oz. The kava isn't too strong but it does give a nice little buzz. It definitely calms me down before bedtime, which was what I wanted. Overall, a good purchase.

What a fantastic surprise! Trish and Jamey created a delicious Kava Punch! No dyes! Colored with red carrots for color! This well rounded punch has a balanced taste and very easy to prepare in a shaker or stirred and swirled! This was my first time trying Kava and I only had a quarter of the serving portion. It made me feel very relaxed, calm, and was the perfect way to wind down after an action packed day! I woke up feeling energized and clear headed. This is a spectacular alternative to sugary cocktails and mocktails. Literally, “better than a mocktail!” Thank you both so much! I really wanted to love this and start buying it regularly. The powder didn’t mix completely into water. It left both a grit and a film. I even tried using a whisk to blend it. It is also insanely sweet. Think Kool- Aid gone wild. Chemical fruit flavor with all the sweet. One drink and I’m done. I can’t force another sip past my lips. What to do with the rest if it? I can’t compost it and impose it on a garden. I can’t ruin a friendship by giving it to anyone. Destroy the environment by sending it to the landfill?

The flavor was good. Strange after taste (Root Extract). I wasn't a fan though. I don't like the way it made me feel.

I gave this kava a bad review but I have since tried it again and I was wrong. I was expecting a taste that I had with another brand.. it was my mistake. This kava is really good and I feel more relaxed as well. I think it was the earthy taste that threw me off.. I have bought another bag because it's so good. I use this instead of alcohol to relax after work. I will continue to purchase this product because it's the best so far!!

We were kava curious and this product seemed the best bang for the buck. The flavor isn't bad, but there is a strong bitter aftertaste. I assume that's the kava. There is a mouth numbing effect that is faint but documented in kava products. I guess at least you know you're getting the real thing. I would equate it to a mild Sucrets lozenge. I didn't get any discernable buzz from the product, but it does have a mild relaxing effect. Overall, it may be great for someone who is trying to ditch the alcohol. I think it's expensive for what it is, and probably speaks to the availability of kava. Would like more flavor options. Give it a try?
