Can this be rated for 24/7 operation? planning to use it for my nuc and ds1819+

Ironically, I am also using it with a NUC and DS1819+. I don't remember seeing a rating for it in that regard, but I have been using it 24/7 since November with success. It is warm, but seems to work well. Glad to see you landed on this one. I bought a different one first, and couldn't get it to work. Good luck!

Will this work with Linux? Are there Linux drivers?

The chip vendor (Aquantia) makes a Linux driver available here https://www.aquantia.com/support/driver-download/ This device is the AQC-107. I can't speak to the quality or installation process for this driver, but Sonnet's site points you there. http://www.sonnettech.com/support/kb/kb.php?cat=537&expand=_a3&action=b1032#b1032

Will this work with a intel nuc?

I never even heard of an Intel NUC. But I looked it up, and it does have a Thunderbolt 3 port, so I guess - yes, it "should" work, as long as you can download drivers for normal Win 10 computers on the Intel NUC Bob Zelin

Windows 10 isn't finding a driver for this adapter... I've approved the adapter in the thunderbolt app, but can't find a driver... Do I download it?
