Cheap, but I like it!
If you're looking for a low-cost ANR headset comparable to a good PNR headset, this is the one for you!I have used this headset for about 6 months now while flight training for my private pilot's license (in a Cessna 172). It's lightweight, has decent audio quality, and the ANR works.Of course, when compared to the industry-leading BOSE or LIGHTSPEED ANR headsets or a David Clark PNR headset, the UFQ A7 lacks in quality. It is less durable, and has a few quirks. Its strengths:1. First and foremost, the ANR is actually quite good. It primarily filters out low frequency noise. I think the noise cancellation is similar to that of a David Clark PNR headset, without the weight or bulk of a PNR headset.2. Its audio sound quality is surprisingly good. It has a great frequency range for music, voice audio is loud and intelligible.3. It has two volume sliders, one for each ear. Moving the slider down will decrease the headset audio while simultaneously increasing the aux-in (music) audio from the provided 3.5mm cord.4. The microphone picks up my voice well even in lots of background noise.5. The headset is quite lightweight, meaning it does not weigh on my head much and doesn't leave me feeling sore after a 2-hour flight.6. It is very adjustable and fits my small head. The mic is also easy to position to where its needed. Now, about the quirks:1. It seems that the left and right ears are swapped on my headset, a little odd, but I can live with it.2. The volume sliders don't seem to have the best contact. Audio occasionally fades or stops in one of the ears and I have to move the volume slider to fix it. This mainly happens when I move a slider.3. Just a personal opinion, but the 3.5mm aux cable could be a little higher quality. It seems quite cheaply made, but I suppose you get what you pay for.4. The ear pads could fit a little tighter. If I turn my head right, some noise will leak in under the pads.Overall, I would still recommend this for new pilots who want a comfortable yet cheap headset. Also a great option if you want some spare passenger headsets.

Fantastic for Sensitive Passenger in Cessna 210 -- UPDATE, It Will Probably Break
Quote from my spouse, after many 4-hour cross-country flights in a Cessna 210: "You always talk about how your headset cancels the noise, but the heavy weight and the squeezing pressure leaves me with a throbbing headache. I don't care about the noise, if I have a headache. And your green headsets always pull my hair." Until now, her favorite headset was the 30-year cheap plastic Telex, because it was light, did not clamp, and did not pull her hair. Now, this is her favorite headset by far (because it is light, does not sqeeze too much, and does not pull her hair). She and one of our kids now hook up to an iPhone with an audio splitter cable (headset has a jack), and listen to a book for a three-hour flight, with no complaints about weight, headache, or pulled hair when we land. I don't like this headset as well as my Bose's, as a pilot, because the microphone is not as sensitive. The sensitivity of the microphone is the only reason I am not giving it five stars. I feel like I have to talk louder in order to be heard on the radio, although maybe that is just perception. Because the clamping force is not as tight, and the seals are not as large and heavy, it does not clamp around my large plastic sunglasses as well. So with glasses, the sound cancelling is not as good as Bose. But without glasses, it is very good. I have owned it for five months, and it has been durable so far. Most of the complaints I see in the reviews are not really bad things, they are just characteristics. If you want a noise cancelling headset that is very lightweight with low clamping force, especially for passengers who won't be talking on the radio, this is your headset. The only down side of buying this headset, is now I have to buy another one for one of my kids.UPDATE, 4 YEARS LATER: I bought three of these over the years, and two of them are broken and junked. On one, a large passenger was in a hurry to get out the door and to the bathroom after a long cross-country, and was not careful to be sure his size 1000 boots were not tangled in the headset wire. As he swung out, his boots tugged the headset out of the jack, but not before pulling one of the wires loose. I opened it up and tried to re-solder it back into place, but the connections and wires that are used for this headset are so microscopically small, that I was not able to fix it (also my terrible soldering skills). I bought an identical replacement, and it also suffered a failure by breaking at the mechanical joint between the earpeice and the band, during storage/carrying, thereby also breaking the wiring connection. In the meantime, my expensive BOSE has lasted forever with no problems. If you have to buy three of these in order to end up with one that lasts, you should factor that into the cost.

Good value, very comfortable.
Good quality headset. had them for 2 years. very comfortable. Battery lasts just 20Hrs with ANR on, but it is passively well insulated. Microphone is good. Works well. Just one side of the headspeaker seems at times lower volume.

Excellent Customer Service
I had a small issue with the headset, and customer service worked with me to replace the item promptly. Other than that, the headset feels good quality and is a great choice for noise cancelling.
