ARKA Substrate Cleaner (118 ml) is a specially developed bacterial blend for the biological breakdown of mulm and waste in the substrate and rock of freshwater and saltwater aquariums. It removes organic deposits, eliminates harmful gaseous compounds and breaks down phosphate and nitrate sources. Dosage: add 20 ml per 100 litres every 14 days until the substrate is clean, then 20 ml per 100 litres monthly. Shake well before use. Against phosphate deposits in saltwater, use 10 ml per 200 litres weekly together with ARKA Phos-Out 4. Slight clouding is harmless and disappears after 24–72 hours. Switch off UV and ozone for 12–24 hours during use. For use in aquariums only.
