Light up the room
Well my final light went out in the closet and with being busy I just ordered new lights and Iโm glad I did. Super easy to install and itโs really bright, my wife is super happy. They are great honestly, happy I got them as a replacement plus I have lights like this in laundry room so having two extras just helpful once those go out. It will last forever most definitely, came in perfect condition, they are energy efficient and so worth the money. Can be used anywhere really but having extra bright light in closets and laundry room is most definitely a huge plus.

Great LED replace for fluorescent bulbs
Great bulb that worked as a straight fluorescent retrofit not requiring the ballast to be removed. Check your ballast and instructions for this. Time will tell as to life and reliability. Happy with the purchase.

If you donโt know what a wire nut is you will need an electrician
I just completed installation of 4 tubes in my kitchen. I have under-cabinet lighting consisting of two 2ft fixtures and two 3ft fixtures. Each contains one bulb. This review is for the 2ft long bulbs. I posted a slightly different review on the 3ft bulb page. A word of caution. This manufacturer, and probably many other manufacturers, markets the same bulbs for US and foreign markets. As a result, a bulb marked as 2ft may actually be 60cm which is slightly shorter. My suggestion, prior to modifying your fixture, is to turn power off and slip the new bulb into the tombstones. If itโs not a snug fit the end prongs might not make solid contact with the tombstone(s) and fail to light. At this point it would probably be advisable to return the bulbs before making a permanent modification to your fixture. Another word of caution. LED replacement tubes only emit light on one side of the tube. Ideally you would like to install a bulb into the tombstones and twist it 90 degrees. When you do that you might find that it is not illuminating the area you wanted lit. In practice, you could get by only twisting the bulb 45 degrees in the tombstone. This is what I had to do. Itโs not ideal and any vibration could conceivably cause the bulb to loosen and drop out of the tombstone. Installation involves disconnecting the fluorescent ballast. It is quick and easy but I have another warning. The bulbs ship without wire nuts. This is probably a good thing. If you don't know what a wire nut is then you should absolutely hire an electrician to do the conversion. After I converted my first fixture it took about 8 to 10 minutes to do each of the other fixtures. So, if you are paying an electrician by the hour and generously allow 10 minutes per fixture you should be able to have up to 5 fixtures modified in under one hour. I started the modification by switching off AC power at the wall switch but a safer way would be to turn off the circuit breaker. I then cut all of the ballast wires close to the ballast. I chose to remove the ballast but I could also have left the now disabled ballast in place. The fact that these bulbs have electrical connections at both ends negates the need to perform any type of modification to the tombstone(s). Single ended LED replacement bulbs would have created a problem for me. By purchasing double ended bulbs, you don't need to do an evaluation of your fixture prior to installation. The manufacturer should include stickers to apply within the fixture to warn future home owners that these are no longer standard fluorescent fixtures. I had some stickers left over from a previous project of modifying 4ft over-head fixtures using bulbs from a different manufacturer. If I didnโt have those stickers, I would have created my own warning label and taped it inside. Wiring requires you to connect the incoming black and white power wires to the tombstone(s) at opposite ends of the fixture. Since you cut the wires off at the ballast you already have red, blue, and or possibly yellow wires pre-connected to the tombstone(s). These are the wires that you will join to the black and white power wires. The tombstone(s) at one end connect to the white wire and the tombstone(s) at the other end connect to the black wire. You'll need wire nuts to accomplish this. You may need additional wire to reach each end if for example the incoming power cable is at the far end of the fixture.

Horrible Quality Control. 1 tube OK, second HALF as bright. Whats the point in trying ten more?
Bought the box of 12. First lamp was fine. Second was HALF as bright. What's the point in trying 10 more? Back they go. Oh wait. They don't want me to send them back. 20 minutes chatting and calling and I'm stuck.

Great option when the ballast is too unique to find or very expensive
These lights came in a super heavy duty square box. Each LED light had its own box inside of that big square box. It was very well packed. I was surprised that the back of the LEDs had an aluminum backing. The top of the LEDs have a transparent filament to protect the lens until you install it. The reason I bought this 2 foot lightbulb was because it did type A and type B, which means type A can be used with a ballast or type B you remove the ballast and just hook it up direct to the power. I have a commercial building and the ballast are starting to go out on the lights in the bathrooms. I tried to find a ballast replacement. However, I couldnโt find one that would fit in the unit. The space dedicated to the ballast was so small and unique to this lighting unit that the only logical alternative was to convert it to LED Type B or replace the whole unit. Since I wanna keep the bathrooms consistent with the same lights, I decided to try this. The conversion to a type B, which means you remove the ballast and just hook it up direct to the power, was super easy. It did come with adequate instructions but a simple YouTube search will be visually better. I tested it for continuity and then connected it to an extension cord and plugged it in. Once it tested good I was able to install the unit back in bathroom. Time will tell if the LED light holds up. My experience with LEDs is that the LED bulbs donโt burn out but the electronics give up and you donโt get that 50,000 hours of life as they claim the LEDs give.

Good product, good price
Wasnโt plug and play on my 25 y/o ballasts. Simple ballast work around. simple wiring as described in the enclosed directions allows you to leave the hot running, unpowered ballast transformer in place, and easily save on electricity. I did 16 fixtures x 2 lights each. Worked great with no light failures. Good product. Thanks
