Hydro Rush Intense Moisture Leave-In Conditioner with Hyaluronic Acid

For reference I have long, thick hair to the middle of my butt. My hair was completely virgin and I made the mistake of getting a balayage for new years. When I washed my hair for the first time after getting the balayage I instantly regretted my decision. My hair was completely tangled, something that I never struggled with, and when it dried it was so dry and frizzy and gross feeling. After doing some research, I found that I should be using leave in conditioner. So began my long search of leave in conditioners. I tried multiple leave in conditioners, and honestly they did nothing for me. I started believing that leave in conditioners were just a gimmick. I came across a TikTok of a girl swearing by this leave in conditioner, I thought it was way too pricey & I couldn’t justify spending the money, so I kept trying other cheaper brands. Nothing really worked for me, none did what they claimed. Eventually, I finally caved and bought this Amika one with no expectations. I was so very pleasantly surprised! It did everything it claimed. My favorite things are first, the scent. It has such a lovely scent to it and it really sticks to your hair for days. At work people have been asking me what shampoo I use and I put them on to the amika leave in conditioner. Secondly, it does such a great job at detangling my mess of hair. I always brush my hair straight out of the shower (I know thats not good) and the the brush runs so smoothly through my hair and I can genuinely say with minimal damage. You know how when you brush your wet hair you have all that hair that’s broken off in your brush, well, I dare say that I lose less hair with this product. Lastly, and most importantly for me- ever since the balayage my hair has been SO DRY and frizzy. I always let my hair air dry, because I simply just have too much to blow dry. I don’t know what is in this stuff, but now when my hair dries, it’s no longer dry and yucky. It looks silky and smooth. I’m absolutely so obsessed with this product and can honestly say that it is worth the money. The way I use it is after I wash my hair, I part it in 2 sections and spray each section from the middle going downward. I do spray a generous amount and it’s completely tangle free. It doesn’t make my hair greasy or oily, which is huge. I 100% recommend this product to everyone. It’s been magical for me. I love it so much that I was gifted another one for Mother’s Day. Also, I’ve been using this in my nieces curly hair as a detangler and she can finally sit through getting her hair brushed without crying. I love, love this stuff and I’m really excited to try other products from this brand.

I love this product! I have 3b, fine, natural hair and I use this to moisturize on wash day before k silk press my hair. It moisturizes while still leaving my hair light and flowy for the press. My hair literally feels like BUTTER! Will always repurchase 10/10

This leave in conditioner smells so good. I love that it’s light weight. Leaves my hair feeling frizz free. I typically apply with damn hair and then let my hair air dry. It has a smooth finish, totally buying this again.

Bought this with some uncertainty as it's fairly expensive. But after getting a lousy haircut that left me with some annoying frizzy, flyaway layers, this has helped tame them down. My hair is thinning and slightly curly, and this doesn't leave it greasy or heavy. It's not a silver bullet, but I will likely buy more when this runs out.

I absolutely love the amika Hydro Rush Intense Moisture Leave-In Conditioner! The smell is fantastic and it leaves my damaged, frizzy hair feeling incredibly soft and moisturized. I’ve noticed a big difference in how smooth and manageable my hair feels after using it, especially when my hair is feeling extra dry. My only complaint is the size. I honestly didn’t realize how tiny the bottle was for the price! That’s definitely my own fault for not checking the size beforehand, but it’s something to keep in mind if you’re considering purchasing it. Overall, I really love the product itself and would absolutely buy it again. It works really well for my damaged, frizzy hair, smells amazing, and leaves my hair feeling soft without weighing it down. I just wish you got more product for the price!

3c hair type, going thru perimenopause which has changed my texture closer to my roots. This stuff i will forever purchased. Instantly softens to make more manageable. Non liquid. Kind of like a dry spray. Idk how to explain it, but its a unique product that actually works and is non greasy! Staple in my hair routine

I only gave 3 stars because the product makes my hair dry out. It seems super silky while you're wearing the leave-in conditioner... But I've noticed that washing it out, my hair feels like straw where I've sprayed it. If you have fine hair, this isn't your spray. It will make your locks limp. I think it's incredibly overpriced for the size of the container and the lackluster effects.

I am 65 , live in a Desert climate and have Hashimoto's disease which makes my hair brittle and dry. My stylist always made my hair look and feel so rich and moist. I asked what she used and Voila! it is the Amika Hydra Rush. I love it. I no longer have hair that resembles a Horse Tail! I put on after I pat my hair dry from showering and apply all over except the top root area. This keeps your hair moist and super healthy looking. Honestly, try it.
