These work great. They were a fraction of the cost of the heavily advertised ones so gave them a shot. I am impressed. They make my Fatboy much quieter. As far as hearing other things through them, they are all the same. They block noise. All noise. None of them will do what the ads say other than block sound. Hopefully they hold up.

The HIQUODIN Ear Plugs do a good job at reducing the volume and are comfortable to wear. The key though is to use ear tips that fit right. Too loose and they will fall out and not block the noise well, too tight and they will be uncomfortable and may fall out. There is some noticeable high frequency attenuation which sacrifices some clarity on the high end, but you'd probably rather have that then getting those high energy sound waves getting into your ear. Those are the most damaging to your ear. You can still enjoy the music though. The case is small, so you can put it in your jeans pocket without a hassle. Since both the case and the earplugs are black it can be hard to find area in the case where to put them back. The manufacturer in my opinion should have at least made the inside of the case a bright color so you can see where to place them. After all in many cases you will using the earplugs in a dark environment. If you don't put them in the right spot it's very easy to drop them on the floor. Overall though the HIQUODIN Ear Plugs are pretty good at their price point.

Best ear plugs I can hear everything around me but the wind noise from the helmet whistling. The comfort is insane they are very flush into your ear

They do dampen the noise a bit, but i have a LOUD bike and its just not quite enough.

Amazing noise reduction! Works well for riding motorcycles as it doesn't snag in my helmet. I can still hear my comms and my music along with some road noise!

These earplugs are for if you still want to hear things, but just want the noise softened. They're good for things like movie theaters or concerts. I'll even use them if my husband is playing video games too loudly, but I still want to be able to hear and understand him talk. The sound that comes through is clear, but quieter. They do make my own voice sound louder (like if I were to cover my ears and talk), so it's not the best if I want to have two way conversations, since my voice sounds so distracting.The fit on these isn't the best. I can get them to stay in my ear after messing with them a bit, but I think the stalk is just a bit too short. It takes longer to get them into a spot where they both stay and the seal is good compared to another pair I have with a longer stalk.

They work good at blocking out the harsh wind noises. Could be used to bring concert music down to a more manageable level too.
