KitchenTour Mini Gram Scale for Coffee, Jewelry and Small Items, 500g x 0.01g Digital Pocket Scale with Tare, 6 Units, Back-Lit LCD, 2 Trays, Black

Works great, easy to use and travel with, and I haven't had to change the batteries in almost 1 years since purchase. I like to use this specifically for measuring smaller amounts of seasonings for recipes, salt, and for mixing up my pre workouts. For larger food items I use a larger kitchen scale but this is a great extra to have for smaller ingredients/food items. Would recommend!

As I always do, before I bought this item, I read the negative reviews, seeing what other buyers had issues with. It is true, that it will drain batteries if left in scale during any lengthy store. No big deal, take them out. They fit in box with scale. Another negative review mentioned how the read-out would flutter with nothing on it. I observed same thing. What I did to correct this was close the door so there wasn't a breeze blowing across scale. I did not calibrate scale with weights. I use it to measure ingredients for baking, For me, it works very well, even with some of the smallest measurements. The buttons are sealed so I don't have to worry about flour getting in the cover. One thing I would change is the auto-shut off time. Seems a bit short. I am very satisfied with scale and would recommend.

Nice little scale. Perfect for what we wanted .

Update: I had some issues with my first scale (only the power button worked), but the seller reached out right away after I shared my experience and sent me a replacement at no cost. I really appreciate how quickly they handled it. The new scale works fine and is easy to use. The only small downside is that it doesn’t measure larger volumes, but that’s a minor issue for me. Great customer service and overall a good product. Original: I really wanted to like this scale, but it has been nothing but frustrating. The scale keeps measuring on its own even when there’s no weight on it. When I try to actually measure something, I can’t change the unit of measurement or use the tare function...both of which are basic features you’d expect to work. The only button that seems to function properly is the power button, which makes the scale practically useless. Very disappointing purchase.

It is a beautiful, compact smart system. The buttons are sensitive and responsive. It’s very easy to clean and easy to use. It is reliable in its functionality, and seems to give accurate weights.

Inconsistent, barely functional. Turn on. Set to grams. Confirm 0. Place object on scale, remove object from scale, place object back on scale, different result. Take object off scale, goes into negatives. Tare button requires incredibly hard to press to activate, I feel like I’m going to break it where other buttons react instantly to touch. This is worthless.

I have no reason to doubt the accuracy of the readout on this scale, but i don't have some of the precise weights or calibration tools other reviewers might have. I can say that i can weigh something and remove it and then replace it over and over and get the same readout multiple times, but it will eventually vary by 1/100th of a gram. (2nd part of video) I'm only using this to measure out tea (yes that is tea in the video) and coffee, so a 10th of a gram is good enough for me. BUT there is one caveat that may matter to others. If you truly need 1/100th gram accuracy, well, you really should probably be looking at scientific scales anyway, not kitchen scales, because It seems to take 3 or 4 hundredths of a gram to provide enough pressure to change the read out. (see 1st part of video). But for normal humans weighing small amounts of food stuffs, this scale is great. It's small, fast, nice looking, and as far as i'm concerned, this unit is accurate enough for a kitchen scale.

It's a good scale, but smaller than expected. It comes with a user guide and 2 AAA batteries to operate. (I appreciate the standard U.S. batteries!) It comes with two trays that you can use to weigh powders, liquids(?), or anything you don't want to put right on the platform. The trays double as a storage case. It has an easy-to-read display, tare option, and several units of measure. Easy to operate. I like it. I'd purchase again.

Genial producto.

Can be used to measure chemicals for small scale amateur chemistry too. None of the spills have affected the weighing surface negatively. Make sure to remove the batteries after use as they can leak and corrode, which fortunately didn't cause damage for me.
