Takes practice. Hard to use.
Pretty tricky to use. Going to take practice. The marks on the sides do help you with lining up. But there’s no way to really measure where to place it so it cuts at exactly the right place. You have to start slow and eye ball it. It’s fine for infrequent use and if you have a lot of time and patience. If I could have afforded I would have bought a higher quality one with a guide edge.

WILL NOT CUT STRAIGHT
Cutter was used against a sturdy, heavy-duty metal ruler but the *blade* itself would not cut straight. I reset the cutter against the ruler and tried again; same result. The blade curves while cutting, making a curved line that veers off from true. As they say, you get what you pay for. This is junk.
