The buckle doesn't go through traditional belt loops but you can just take it off and put it back on once you have the belt on. Easy to unlatch and connect and hasn't failed me yet.

I’ll keep this short and sweet. Overall the belt is fantastic. Feels well made and sturdy. The buckle is great and having quick release is awesome. Only cons I’ve found is the little elastic keeper for the loose end isn’t stitched in place so it’s easy to lose when removing the belt from pants.

I was looking at a tactical type nylon belt for my edc, and my first choice was a 511 belt. When I saw the price I was caught a little off guard and after some searching I found this FAIRWIN belts and immediately ordered two, one for me and my buddy. Both belts were half the price of a 511 belt and with great quality! I carry either a full size glock 17 or a full size CZ75BD and my buddy a full size .45 1911. Pretty heavy carry guns and these belts perform great when open carrying! No sagging or drooping when properly tightened. Very satisfied with this product. Amazing price as well. Definitely worth the buy!

I got this belt for a 4-day handgun class and to use as an EDC belt after the class. It worked great for the class using an OWB holster and two mag carriers. I've been using it for about 3 weeks now. My pants waist size is 40 and I ordered the L 42-46. I did end up cutting some off as it was too long (I figured I'd rather have it too long than too short), but cutting/shortening it was easy. As other have said, you can't thread this through your belt loops with the buckles on (or at least not easily), but it's easy to remove one of the buckles, thread it, then thread the buckle on and tighten it. The quick release buckle works great and I haven't had any unintentional releases. Very sturdy belt. I'm happy with it and would recommend it to others.

I remember using belts that had the punch holes that you had to put the prong from the buckle through. There's nothing wrong with those belts, but they do create a weak point in the belt with continuous use. More often that I'd like, I have had to throw away a belt because the normal punch hole I put the prong through tore through the belt. I used to wear leather belts, so it was more irritating to me with having to spend the money for a new one. I know things will wear down over time, but it always felt that my time with a particular belt was too short. Then I came across these tactical belts, and things change a lot. With belt like this, there are no holes, nor common fold points, to weaken over time. You simply pull the strap through to the desired point, lock it in the clip, and you're good to go.I have used belts like this exclusively for the past 15 years now, and I can't imagine going back to any other type. I used to work in an office setting, and the black belt blended in wonderfully with the dress pants I had to wear. Then, on the weekends when I wanted to go hiking in the woods, or other outdoor activities, I just switched the belt to my jeans, and we were set! This belt comes with some accessories if you want to hang additional items from it. It also holds my pistol holster firmly to my side for me. The last belt that I had lasted me for about 10 years before it started to fail me. What ended up happening was the front edge of the nylon started to fray. I was able to cut the bad areas away, and melt the tip so that it would stop fraying at that point. It continued to fray over time from there until it was getting more difficult to strap in. That's the only reason why I needed to get a new one. One issue that I sort of got used to, but was still kind of annoying, is that unless you have larger belt loops, the buckle won't easily fit through them. I just got used to pulling the strap out to loop around before buckling back up. Other than that, these belts are amazing, and I will very unlikely go back to the traditional buckle style belts.

Okay.. I love leather, especially basket weave gear, but the leather gear I wanted was too expensive for a sport shooter like myself. And to be totally honest, leather is noisy; creaking and squeeking. But it looks good and lasts.. So, I DID end up getting a decent leather shoulder rig. But couldn't justify paying the price on a Full Duty (every day) belt. Deciding to be sensible, I bought this surprisingly, VERY cool riggers belt.First off, the belt is nice and wide (a hair under two inches -an 1" and 7/8" (or there about) the nylon is somewhat stiff so it holds everything nice and solid. No flopping about. And something I thought (in my humble opinion) was a unique and clever idea: See, the belt buckle is too wide to fit through the loops of most civilian pants -no problemo- the buckle on one side can be slipped off in a quick second; you run belt through your gear and belt loops and reattach the buckle and your good to go! so you don't have to buy a hook and loop liner or anything like that. And, this is some thick, tuff stuff! It also has a convenient, triangle, yank-velcro-strap to tighten or loosen the belt if it stretches or starts cutting into your sides throughout the day! It's a really comfortable belt! And the price for this quality? NICE! I'm going to get another one (or two) so that I won't have to change out various gear for different purposes. And, even one to just wear as a regular belt because it looks great on. I spent two days browsing for a belt that would suit my purposes.. This Rigger Belt was my choice. Obviously, to me, it was a very good choice! I bet you will not be disappointed.
