ESV Study Bibles, Large Print

I already have the KJV Sword Study Bible, which has been a huge blessing over the years, but this is packed with a lot more resources! I recommend this for all who seek to better study and understand the scripture - it caters to both students and the average Christian. I can't recommend this enough. Just get it!

Such a beautiful Bible and the print is magnificent. I read a couple complaints about this before I purchased it and people complained about the font size of the notes. It’s no problem. We bought the identical Bible without the large print for my wife and I can’t read hers, but I can read this one fine without cheaters.

Very good reference Bible with helpful commentary at the bottom of each page. Anyone studying the Bible would benefit from this book.

I have a few ESV study bibles and last year I purchased the premium ESV in large print and the pages had a lot of ghosting , and it was really disappointing, had I not written in it so soon I would have returned it . I’m having a hard time reading smaller print . I decided to give it another try with the hardcover since I figured they used different paper than the premium and soooo much better . Hardly any ghosting at all. I’m very pleased with it and I own about 80 bibles all different versions and a few premium ones. I highly recommend this one due to the large print and hardly any ghosting at all . Also the premium one I purchased before was the Buffalo Leather just an fyi. More expensive doesn’t always mean better.

Very heavy so this may not be the Bible you carry to church but a great study from home Bible. The large print makes it very easy to read. Hardcover

Probably the most detailed study bible out there. This study bible and the NIV study bible have really helped me in understanding God's words and strengthening my faith.

The print is just the right size ( large enough to rest the bible on your legs and read) and the paper to letter contrast is impeccable. The cover is strong and the bible binding is well constructed. The notes and references are helpful. I do recommend this bible. There is one other bible to look out for.... titled: The archaeological bible, which may have more illustrations and supporting archaeological research to back up the scriptures. It is also on my wish list.

I got it in large print and I own a library of Study Bibles, here is what I think of this Bible in regard to usability: - Despite the large font, the font style makes the text too hard on the eyes and the lines are too close, the space between words too small, there are no paragraphs in the large print version and my eyes started bleeding after starring at the text for a few minutes. - The large print and the layout format imposes too wide of an eye movement angle during reading sessions. - The paper is extra thin and the Text just bleeds through, which makes the already poor layout of the content even worse in terms of user friendliness especially in the footnotes which are somewhat crammed up unnecessarily. - Footnotes lack scholarly, and theologically correct explanations and contain a whole lot of irrelevant to the text cross references, which pointlessly ping pongs the reader back and forth to different places without serving any purpose in illuminating the Scripture by means of "Comparing Scripture to Scripture". (Example Luke 18) - There are no bookmark ribbons. - And here is my biggest NO, at the back of the bible, the article regarding "divorce and remarriage" states: "If you have divorced illegally, and remarried, the second marriage is accepted by God as marriage, It's not a perpetual adultery, and you should ask God for forgiveness, Ask God to bless your new marriage and STRIVE not to ruin this one." The only way to read such interpretation into that text is by way of "Eisegesis." - There are so much better options out there, don't fall for the ESV/Crossway hype, this Bible is not the Gold Standard, not by a long shot.

Bíblia muito bonita e cheia de recursos incríveis. Umas das mais completas do mundo. Possuo a versão em português também, porém, a Study Bible-ESV-Large é ainda mais incrível e completa que a NAA.
