My GI recommended this product to me. It works! That bedtime reflux lost the battle with this stuff. Use at night as it does help going to sleep, too.

Acid Reflux Remedy - Decent Flavor
I received two actual 8-ounce bottles of the Midnight Berry flavor version, which is different from what the current listing photos appear to show at the moment. Both bottles arrived factory sealed, and the lot/expiration information was clearly printed on the packaging. Mine shows Lot Number 031224 with an expiration date of 12/2026, which gives a fairly decent shelf life. Each bottle contains 8 fluid ounces (237mL), and the serving size is listed as 5mL (1 teaspoon). With 47 servings per container, the two-bottle set provides a pretty long supply overall depending on how often it is used. The directions mention taking 2 teaspoons (10mL) about 30 minutes before bed unless otherwise directed. The flavor on this version is Midnight Berry. Taste-wise, it is actually better than I expected for a magnesium-focused liquid supplement. It has a mild berry flavor with some sweetness and a slightly mineral aftertaste underneath, but nothing too harsh. Definitely easier to take than large magnesium pills. The label focuses on a magnesium alginate complex along with ingredients like calcium carbonate, sodium alginate, sodium bicarbonate, potassium bicarbonate, vegetable glycerin, purified water, organic blueberry powder, and natural blueberry flavor. Per serving, the label lists: • 12 calories • 3g carbohydrates • 28mg calcium • 20mg sodium • 244mg RefluxRaft proprietary alginate complex • 1mg melatonin One thing worth noting is that the exact magnesium amount itself is not clearly broken out separately on the Supplement Facts panel, which feels a little vague considering magnesium is one of the main marketing points. The formula relies heavily on the proprietary blend wording, so it is hard to know the exact contribution of each ingredient. This product is marketed mainly as a nighttime reflux support liquid. The “raft” part basically means the alginate ingredients are supposed to form a foamy or gel-like layer that floats on top of stomach contents after you take it. In simple terms, it acts more like a physical barrier sitting on top of the stomach contents instead of only trying to reduce acid directly. At face value, the idea is to help keep stomach contents from moving upward while lying down at night. The bottle size I received was 8oz rather than the 10oz shown. The consistency is somewhat thick, almost syrup-like, which makes sense given the alginate ingredients. Also, while the marketing references natural therapy and magnesium support, there is limited detail about ingredient sourcing, magnesium form specifics, or broader standardization information. The melatonin content is relatively low at 1mg per serving, which some people may appreciate if they do not want very high melatonin amounts. So far, nothing negative during use, but it is still early and hard to fully gauge long-term experience from a short trial period. I do appreciate the clearly printed expiration date, sealed bottles, decent serving count, and the fact that the Midnight Berry flavor is fairly easy to tolerate compared to many liquid supplements.

Changed Formula, no longer works
Would have given this 5 stars a few months ago after multiple orders, but they've changed the formula and now its runny and ineffective. Revising, They've offered a refund, the second bottle of the same order is better than the first. I'll give them another try, maybe it was just a bad batch.

No more nightly acid reflux
I have a hiatal hernia with Gerd. All of which resulted in ulcers in my esophagus. Since taking this product, my acid reflux is almost 100% gone when I am sleeping. I sleep a lot better now and all through the night. I highly recommend this product as a natural alternative. It tastes similar to a mild strawberry yogurt.

Formulation Changed
I’ve been buying this particular flavor reflux raft for well over a year now and have absolutely loved it and recommended it to everyone. That being said, the order I just received this week was runny, thin, and completely ineffective! It had the same taste but the texture and viscosity was completely off! I bought a 2 pack (which is NOT cheap!) and upon loading the spoon, it practically ran right off and for the first time ever did absolutely NOTHING for my husband’s or my own heartburn. Severely disappointed and saddened. I’m out 60+ dollars and now I need to try and find another alginate brand that will work as well as this used to. My only recommendation is to save your money and perhaps start somewhere else if you’re looking for an alginate to try.
