Update: This was my son’s favorite book u til he was 3. I buy it for friends with babies. Great book. I think the similarity to the itsy bitsy spider is what makes it a winner.Original: My son loves this book. We got it for him around 11 months old for Halloween. It’s now summertime and this book is still in our reading rotation.

Both my kids love this book. Easy to sing. Great for Halloween too

My son is 17 months old and he was so in love with pumpkins this year! He loved pointing them out in the stores and in all of the Halloween / Fall decorations. So, I bought this book for fun. It's so perfect. It's a great size board book that is just the right size to have nice, clear illustrations and still small enough that he can hold it well himself. The tune reads like the Itsy Bitsy Spider, which is also one of his favorites, and it's great for us both. He likes the sing-song-y, rhyming tunes (and so do I). Great seasonal book, but I'm sure he will be making us read this well into summer. One of his favorites!

Super cute and lovely illustrations. My daughter loves it. But, she instantly broke the cover which she hasn’t done with any other books, so this may be a bit flimsy.. after that, she doesn’t like reading it much. I also don’t like the rhymes at the end after the witch- feels a little lazy and could have been better. Otherwise, it’s a cute book.

I do home childcare and got out the Halloween books today, have 20 or so. This one is her favorite, we read it 7 times!

Ho 3 bimbi di 2 anni e mezzo, 4 anni e mezzo e 6 anni e mezzo. A tutti e 3 é piaciuto molto, ricalca la melodia di “Itsy bitsy spider” ma con una storia su una zucca in rima, quindi risulta musicale alla lettura, i disegni veicolano molto bene il significato, e la storiella, anche se semplice, é molto carina.Il mio piccolo di 2 annie mezzo la sa già a memoria :-)
