Just before Christmas, I completed the Torrington Christmas Caper which was a 9.5 mile very muddy cross country run. I wore this cap for the first time and it was very impressed. It fitted well and was comfortable and very good at keeping the rain off my face. I threw it into the washing machine with all of my other muddy kit and it came out unscathed. I picked the bright yellow colour which is not advertised as hi-vis, but does help to make me more visible on the roads. What makes this stand out is that the peak can be folded into three and so can easily be slipped into a pocket when you don't want it on your head. The size is easily adjustable with a Velcro fasting on the back. I intend to purchase more of these in different colours.

This fit pretty well. There is a velcro strip on the back. The peak is a bit longer than normal. It folds down so you can stash it in a pocket easily, which is a nice feature.

It's lightweight, has a good visor, compact when folded, available in safety colours and washes easily. I find this really useful when playing tennis in bright sunlight and for head protection on long runs. So much so that I have bought another one, so I don't have to remember to transfer it from my day rucksack to my sports bag. An essential bit of sun protection kit for activity holidays in sunny climates.
