These plates are well made and heavy. Dishwasher and microwave safe plus they are beautiful! They do not leave rings on wood if the plate/bowl is too hot.

The pattern and appearance of his tableware are warm and eye-catching and will accent a table or room very nicely. At a glance they look like they were handmade in a good pottery shop. If you enjoy a massive cup of coffee or tea, these mugs are your answer. My only issue has been chipping along the upper edges of several (4) plates. We are not careless with our handling. For the first few moths, the plates (especially), bowls and cups had a crackling sound, generally post dishwasher. That has stopped but the chips began.

Really like these plates and bowls

I bought 2 sets of these so that we have 8 of everything. I thought that based on the photos that the large plates would be a little more "bowl like" but in reality, they're pretty flat. That was just a minor disappointment when I opened the package but other than that, they are beautiful. I love that they have a Santa Fe mixed with 1970's feel. The plates are nice and big and they stack very nicely. The mugs are also deceptively large and hold a ton of coffee which is great. The packaging was fantastic. I was really hoping that I wouldn't have to deal with any cracked or broken dishes but they were very professionally and securely packaged. I have only used them for a week so I don't have any insights into their longevity or resistance to chips but so far I am very happy with this purchase.
