Aquarium Air Pump Mini USB Fish Tank Oxygen Air Pump 1W

I bought this pump for an unusual application. I needed a small pump to use in a bubbler type level sensor in one of the tanks on my boat. Since the performance specs I was concerned about were not what aquarium hobbiest cares about so I bought the pump because it was cheap enough that if the pump didnt work for my application it would be no big deal. I works great. I tested it ability to quickly empty a 1/4 tube to a depth of 34 inches. The tube was left open to atmospheric pressure so it would fill with water. Within a second of attaching the pump to the tube there were bubbles coming out the bottom of the tube. The power consumption I measured was less that the 1 watt in the product description and the power consumption did not seem to vary with depth. This little pump is so quite that I had to hold it up to my ear to make sure it was working when I first connected to power.

This product has proven invaluable for my Fluval breeding box. Its gentle operation allows for versatile application, serving as an air pump with an airstone within the breeding box or as an integral component of the filtration system, facilitating water transfer from the aquarium to the breeding box. I have also successfully deployed it in my standard 10-gallon tank, both with a sponge filter and as a standalone air pump to enhance water circulation. The device operates with remarkable quietness, delivers optimal water flow, and generates an appropriate volume of bubbles when functioning as a conventional air pump. Its lightweight construction and thoughtful design contribute to its multifaceted utility. The durability and material quality of this air pump are exceptional. I have encountered no issues to date and am thoroughly satisfied with its performance. Furthermore, I have incorporated it into my emergency hospital tank setup.

It was cute and quiet and didn't even last two months. it broke a month after the return window ended.

I bought 2 of these and both of them only lasted around 2½ months each. While they were working, they were pretty quiet and they worked fairly well, but they just don't last a very long time. If they were more expensive I'd be more upset, but they're super cheap so I can't really give him less than four stars. I wouldn't use these as a permanent solution though.

Works great! I have been using it for my beta fish and it works great. Super easy to use and not very loud either!

This pump worked for 18 months for me! Quiet and compact bubbler that has a lot of power to it! Will purchase again.

It’s works! I only gave it 3 stars because it is louder than I expected. Not awfully loud, but loud enough that I can’t put it in my aquascape at work… I recognize that’s not the ideal location for it, but it’s loud enough that I can hear it from about 20 feet away. If you don’t mind the sound, it checks all the other boxes. Easy to use, just plug it into a usb port. Decent quality, i thought it was going to be cheaper, but it works. True to its claim, it is definitely compact so you can easily set it up in a way that it won’t be an eyesore.

I got one of these originally for my small quarantine/acclimation tank - i.e. more for a temporary setup I like it being on USB, since that provides some flexibility - most of my fishroom surge protectors are already full of other devices - heaters, lights, etc, but usually have USB slots available, the this slots in perfectly. Works just great for shallow tanks, ended up getting another and popping it in my daphnia tank, and roils up the water surprisingly strongly for something about the same size as an elongated D battery. Absolutely quiet, especially when hung up in free space by the carabiner - nothing for it to touch and vibrate. Needed some extra oxygen in a tall 20 hex while medicating - surprisingly no problem for this tiny pump, pushed a strong stream of bubbles out of a fairly dense airstone laying all the way down on the floor. I now have 4 of them serving various purposes, and 2 more just as backups! Amazing product, especially for the price!

Some years ago we bought a small 60l fish tank for my daughter to have some pets. The issue was that the tank was too small and the water kept getting low in oxygen, so we got a bubble machine. We looked all over for a good recommendation and ended up getting one that worked brilliantly. The only problem: It sounded like someone was trying to use a jackhammer behind the fishtank. It had these four little rubber conical feet which were supposed to insulate it, and dampen the vibration, but they didn't. And the plastic hose was curled up, which put a twisting force onto the pump, and it'd vibrate itself horizontal and then it was jackhammer time as the wooden shelf vibrated too. We put up with it for a year, but one night I went into her room and she was wide awake with that thing hammering away in the background. Happy fish - unhappy daughter. It was time for a change. So, I hit up Amazon. I have to admit, I wasn't very choosy. I just scrolled until I saw a review that said "quiet" and hit "buy it now". A day later, I'd ripped out old thumpy, and popped this one on. Oh my, what a difference. This one puts out less bubbles, but it's MORE than adequate for a 60l tank! With the little diffuser you get, it makes a lovely curtain of bubbles at the back of the tank. But the best thing is that it's /silent/. If you put your ear close, you can hear it buzzing away, but from more than a few feet, the bubbles make more noise than the pump! It was so good, I instantly bought a second one for my little boy's fishtank which didn't have a bubble machine, largely because I was so fed up with the bzzzzzz coming through the floor from my daughter's room above ours, at night. Wonderful little things. They've been in now for about 4 months and they're both working brilliantly. I would say that for anyone that's had one burn out, it's been because you've bent the tube and put a kink in it. That'll make the pump heat up and burn out! I cut the hose a little shorter so it wouldn't kink. If there was one thing I'd add, it'd be a sucker with a hook to hang it off the back of the fishtank. Otherwise.. perfection.

WooooW 👌 diese kleine Pumpe hat eine starke Kraft. Hört man überhaupt nicht, daß ist wirklich toll. Der Stein am Schlauch Ende...das hört man ein bisschen, da es ordentlich Luft raus bläst. Hätte nie gedacht das dieses kleine Ding so gut ist. Durch diesen USB Anschluss ist man sehr flexibel. Der Schlauch was dabei war bei mir, ist sehr weich. Diesen habe ich nicht verwendet, habe in mit einen besseren ersetzt. Muss man aber nicht. Ich hatte mir davor eine Pumpe von einem Bekannten Shop gekauft. Die war extrem laut, qualitativ aber sehr gut. Musste ich zurück bringen. Bin auf Amazon auf diese Pumpe gestoßen mit sehr guten Bewertungen....es gibt von mir ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen.....LG. aus Österreich 🇦🇹
