This visor is really good. Better than I expected. But it does have a couple of issues. Cons: The batteries are a little tricky to install at first. The bottom one is a bit of a pain until you figure it out. If not seated perfectly, the lamp will turns itself on and stay on. The lid was very hard to remove with batteries loaded but once I removed and reinstalled the batteries, the led seems to be operating normally now. The other issue is unbalanced weight. It’s front heavy due to the LED pack. That needs to be lighter. I am a lady with a small neck (this is my husband’s account). When I reach a certain point looking down, the front heavy visor (led pack) requires more effort to keep my head from tipping all the way down. I can see it causing neck strain when wearing it for more than a few minutes. Pros: It’s head size adjustment system makes for a perfect fit. It has a soft, thick forehead pad. It’s very comfortable and easy to fit perfectly. The visor can be raised or lower with precision. You can use one or two lens at the same time and angle them forward or back. The retractable jeweler’s loop is a nice touch. And the light can be adjusted on two brightness levels, angled upward or straight ahead, and the lamp can be angled left, straight, or right. All in all I love the versatility of this device. Just wish the led pack was lighter. If the lamp issue reappears I will update my review.

I was doing some SMD electronics work and really struggling with very tiny components. I saw that if I ordered this before a certain time I could get the unit the same day! To order and get it the same day was really a WOW! Thanks Amazon!The unit works well. The light and magnification are a big help for what I want to do. The flip up lenses and the small single eye magnifier are great The light is big help for certain work. The only downside is when using the high magnification lenses, the depth of field is low so you have to move the workpiece or your head to stay in focus; I'm sure all magnifying lenses have this problem. The adjustments allow it to fit securely. When you first put it on it might feel a bit heavy but after a few minutes you forget you have it on.

This unit is worth the higher price. It has very nice fit and finish as you'd expect. Much better longer focal length then the cheap one I had already. Padded headband is a welcome addition as well. It is able to be adjusted and locked. My only knock against it is the headlamp. It's honestly good but I wish they had gone with triple A instead of 3 double As. It makes it a little heavy. One nice feature is the light can be removed and used as a flashlight although I presume it's for changing the batteries. The light is fairly bright but 2 or even 3 triple As would have been a better design choice.One gripe aside I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

The media could not be loaded. When I purchased this magnifying glasses w/light last Novembe,.I very unsure if they would help me. If you are a newbie to wearing Magnifying Glasses Visor Headset for hobbies or projects, getting used to ANY visor is a little uncomfortable at first. But this visor was well designed with some great features, so you can ease into wearing this device. The adjustable head band is easy to operate (a tightening knob), with ample padding so your noggin is not exposed to any sharp surfaces. It has multiple lenses at various powers, and two lens holders so you can double up for extremely fine work. If you normally wear glasses there is plenty of room between the magnifying lens and your glasses. And the additional swing down jeweler's loupe is very convenient.

I saw some negative comments about the weight and comfort. For the cost, the quality is totally what I expected. It is a little heavy with the light, but the light assembly comes off if not needed. At first I had a hard time getting it stay in place on my head and I discovered that if I put a ball cap on backward and then put the magnifier on it works really well. I like it, it all works just fine so far. It arrived before promised and it is what I paid for and it delivers what it promises.
