Can you set it on the floor and roll your tight back muscles over it for a deep massage?

Yes you could. Keep in mind that if you wanted to roll & relax a large and/or long area, you would need to lift your back a bit up in order to move it across the roller ball. Good luck in relaxing your back.

Can the ball rotate by itself?

It isn't propelled by batteries or anything. You hold onto the massager and it rolls against your skin easily. Apply however much pressure you desire to massage your muscles.

Can the Relive Roller be heated?

I would not recommend heating the ball as it's made of resin.

Does it attach to the wall?

This does attach to the wall. It is handheld and works very well for small ares, such as a hand. Very durable and easy to grab.
