This Coleman Pro Series cooler is a great option if you need something with serious capacity that is still manageable to transport. The 55-quart size holds an impressive amount of food and drinks, making it especially useful for camping, road trips, beach days, tailgating, parties, or any situation where a smaller cooler just isn’t enough. One of the biggest advantages is the wheels. A cooler this size can get extremely heavy once it’s completely loaded with drinks, food, and ice, so being able to roll it rather than carry it makes a huge difference. It feels sturdy and well-built, and the overall construction seems designed to handle more demanding use than a basic everyday cooler. The insulation is also impressive. It does a great job keeping everything cold for extended periods, which is particularly helpful for longer trips when you don’t want to constantly drain and replace melted ice. As with any cooler, actual ice retention will depend on outside temperature, how often you open it, and how well it’s packed, but it performs very well when properly loaded. I also appreciate the amount of usable interior space. There’s plenty of room for drinks along with larger food containers, and the generous capacity means you can pack for a group without needing several separate coolers. The tradeoff is that this is a substantial cooler, so it does take up quite a bit of space and can become very heavy when fully loaded. I would definitely check the dimensions if cargo or storage space is limited. However, the wheels help make the weight much less of an issue. Overall, this feels like a cooler that was built to last. The combination of generous capacity, strong insulation, durable construction, and wheels makes it especially practical for longer trips and group outings. If you regularly find yourself wishing your cooler were bigger or easier to move when full, this is a worthwhile upgrade.

This cooler is solid and a good value considering what you get. A 10 year warranty, solid build , screw down water drain. I used this cooler all week during our summer vacation, 80+ degree days at the beach for 4-5 hours . We still have plenty of ice in the cooler and was even able to use the some of the ice the next day. The shoulder strap is also a plus . I’d definitely recommend this cooler. It’s great for beach days and keeps the beverages good & cold!

Great ice chest durable well insulated and seals well! Its ability to keep things cold for 2 or 3 days is great and it has great capacity as it can hold larger bottles. Water tight so long as you make sure to properly thread the drain plug. Hopefully it last as long or longer than my ice chest from the 90s as I bought this to replace that one.

Perfect size to take in the car and easy to operate with one hand. Keeps things cold for a very long time. Excellent value compared to other brands.

Like this cooler very much. It works well for me. I especially like the size. Not too big, but it can still hold quite a bit. It does not hold ice up to 4 days. This cooler must be drained each day in use. It does keep items cold, as long as they are covered in ice. The drain plug works well. The steel latch is also a positive.

We bought this for our annual beach trip and couldn't be happier with its performance. It fits perfectly in our beach cart which is homemade. Having the rubber seal and latch makes for a nice tight fit to keep the cold in. We bought a bluetooth thermometer to monitor its performance. We packed enough drinks for a family of 4 to stay on the beach for 6-8 hours. We used 2 extra large Arizona Ice ice packs and 10lbs of ice. After about an hour, the inside temp was at 32°. Our water bottles had ice crystals forming. Skip ahead to the next morning; this cooler was still at 40° inside. Daytime temps have been mid to high 90s and mid 80s overnight. It is a bit heavy compared to our previous, much less expensive Coleman coolers, but it's definitely worth it. The side carry handles are much nicer than the tiny plastic handles of the other coolers. There is enough room to get 2 hands on 1 handle if needed. We are 100% satisfied with this purchase. Excellent quality, perfect size and phenomenal performance.

I haven't tested it yet with ice. But its obviously very well built. The handle is strong & extends long enuf that you won't clip your heals while you pull it. The wheels are big & solid. The axle is encased, as opposed to older models where the axle just snapped in to the bottom of the cooler. The sealed casket, the metal snap latch & options for side carrying handles. It's all good. And I'm sure it will be just as good with cold & ice retention. 5 stars

In the shade, the cooler kept ice and drinks for four days up in the hills. (Cool nights and warm days) Seems well built. Not too heavy. Easy to drain water. Expecting a long life. Only thing missing is a bottle opener.

This thing kepts the vast majority of our ice frozen for 3 days prior to us getting home. Once we did I may have forgotten about it for a few days and when I came back to empty it, there was still ice!

Ich kenne die Marke "Coleman" seit '81 und muss sagen sie ist qualitativ immer noch gut. Die Sachen bleiben in dieser Kühlbox selbst bei 37 Grad Aussentemperatur bis zu 7 std kalt.
