Nice looking sign
Was easy to assemble and looks good in my front yard. Sign is plastic but the pole is metal. Had no issues placing it in the ground. It will be interesting to see how long it takes to fade from the sun.

Added safety measure for my yard
Iโve had this sign for around a year now and I havenโt had any issues. The color of the sign is still vibrant and it is still standing strong even after being put through many storms. I appreciate how its reflective appearance makes it more noticeable. This sign helps give me a little extra peace of mind.

This advertises. It does not become an active (or passive for that matter) sensor.
Design informs passersby that your home is being monitored. Whether the Ring system inside is attached to a security account with Ring, or not, the sign stands warning people that Ring products are within. You can't ask for more than that. All alarm companies do that same thing. The only question is, what is the difference in the quality of monitoring by the company? Ring does pretty well, in my experience. Ring has been responsive to all problems that I have had, and all alarms that have been triggered. These folks are easy to work with, intelligent, knowledgeable, and responsive to your needs. I have used ADT, SimpliSafe and Ring systems. Ring's sensors and software are superior to SimpliSafe's hands down. Ringโs customer service is great! My homesโ experience with ADT is that the sensors lose battery power and you receive notices from ADT alarm monitoring that one of your sensors are down. You receive notice that one of your motion detectors (one of five) has a dead battery. Which one, you ask? ADT tells you the one in the corner. OK. That is probably your fault for naming a sensor โcorner.โ Again, which corner? Because ADT did the install, it is difficult for the homeowner to find the right unit to replace the appropriate battery. (BTW each sensor has a different type of battery.) A trip to the correct store (grocery, hardware, electronics or do-it-yourself) reflects the effort required to restore the sensor to operation. The real question becomes, should you have been notified when the battery was weak? Early notice provides you time. ADT controls your time, because you donโt get to monitor the system, you have to react to ADTโs notification. At least for the ADT system installed in my home. That may have changed over the years since the 1980โs, but I speak from my experience, not guessing what present services are. As for SimpliSafe, I never had my system work as designed โ there was always something wrong with AT LEAST ONE sensor! At least I fought for an entire year trying to get the system equipment

Nice sign
This sign is what I expected. It sturdy, large enough to be seen so people know they are being recorded.

Nice reflective sign!
The sign is nice and brightly reflective, looks well-designed and engineered, like all Ring stuff. Square aluminum post appears strong, but comes in two sections connected by a (strong-looking) plastic coupler that slides inside and locks in with pushbutton pins: a good design, but we'll see what a few years of harsh UV light does to the plastic (maybe I'll put a wrap of aluminum tape around it to protect it). They also include a pointy spear-tip (also locks in) to ease pushing into garden soil, but probably not meant for hammering into hard clay soil. (The SoCal trick is to soak the soil with water the day before before putting anything into the hard soil!)

Nice but a bit expensive.
The Ring system seems is inexpensive, but the accessories and add-on's ... uh ... add up.

Critical part missing
Missing the piece of metal which connects together the two metal post. No response from Ring. Have 6 cameras. Included pictures for reference. Sign is unusable otherwise.
