Q: What's the measurement from the base to the bottom of the sprayer? Like how tall is it from the top of the counter to where the water comes out?

The faucet measures 16.5 inches from the base to the top. The distance from the sprayer to the counter is 9 inches.

Q: How and where do you install the batteries? information says aa or c batteries, will it accept either.

There is a battery pack to put the batteries in. I used AA batteries. The battery pack stays under the sink.
