Q: Could this be used to store a bottle Jack upright?

I have not used these bags of sorts for heavy items like a small jack. It would seem to work with the large unit as long as it's not something you need daily.

Q: The product dimensions say 12 x 12 x 6 inches. I wanted to know how deep is the largest one from the outside?

You ask for outside depth dimension of largest soft box which is 4 and 3/4 inches from top cover to bottom edge. The inside depth is slightly less at 3 and 3/4 inches.

Q: How thick are these soft boxes?

I wouldn't say they are thick but they are very durable in the zippers are really good I love them I do not use the small one

Q: Is the plastic stiffener in the soft cases removable

The only one of the three I have access to right now is the 12 inch case. That is 4 inches deep and the other two come nested inside it so they might be slightly less deep than that, but not by much. The small one was packed inside the medium one and that was packed inside the large one. They have to be almost the same depth for all three, if not they are very close to the same depth. Sorry I can be more specific. The other two are off in another vehicle.
