I always buy this rice but usually from store. this time it was on a great offer so I could not stop myself. The quality, taste, and smell are all really good. It may not be the absolute best rice out there, but for the price, it offers excellent value. The grains are medium-length and cook perfectly every time.

Great quality rice that lasts a family a long time. Most economical way to buy basmati rice. Lasts a while and is non perishable (within reason). Taste is fantastic especially when using a rice cooker.

Great value, cooks fast, but looks a bit old even when freshI bought the Salaam Premium Basmati Rice (5kg). Overall, the rice has a nice aroma and cooks very quickly – ready in just 10 minutes, which is impressive.The only issue is that the rice doesn't stay looking white and fluffy. Even when freshly cooked, it has a slightly stale appearance – almost like it was made the day before and has been sitting around. It doesn't look as appealing as I'd like.That said, for price and performance, it's excellent. When you compare it to Tilda rice, which costs £12.49 per kilo, this one is an amazing budget-friendly alternative. If you don't mind the slightly dull look, it's a solid buy.

Honestly, this is some of the best basmati I’ve tried in a while. The grains are really long and they don't stick together at all, which is always my biggest worry. It has that authentic nutty aroma that fills the kitchen while it's cooking. Great for biryani or just a side of pilau. Definitely worth the price for a 5kg bag!

I used to but leyla gold but couldn't get any, so gave this a try. It's way better!
