Excellent item... so far. I bought two to place in my condo in Chile to plug in computer power supplies, a printer, phones, shavers, etc. The USB outlets are very handy, along with the AC plug spacing, that accommodates most AC/DC/voltage converter plugs that are of idiotic widths that can't be plugged in adjacently to most power strips. I have used them for about a month without failure.

I just used it as a regular power outlet extension and heard no noise at all. 350W plus two Type-C and two regular USB ports are enough for a laptop, iPad, and iPhone charging. It gives another four adaptors, but I only saw three of them before in the UK, China, Hong Kong, and the US. It should cover 99% of your travel needs. It's super light even with all the accessories in the travel bag. It charges my iPhone from 20% to 89% in about half an hour.

TL;DR:I have done a lot of research and HIGHLY recommend the DOACE 350W Voltage Converter, sold on Amazon. It is a voltage converter that will ALWAYS output ~120V. I have been testing a lot of other cube-type adapters/converters, and even other converters that look like this one.None of the others have been consistent or have output a safe voltage in my opinion, and those others were all returned back to Amazon. Also, the cord on this device is European but it does come with 4 adapter plugs and a carry pouch!TESTING:I used a Fluke 115 TRMS meter for measurement testing. All testing was done here in the USA with a selectable AC bench power supply. The power supply was 120V 60Hz input and could output 200V, 220V, 230V, or 240V AC in either 50Hz or 60Hz at all voltages mentioned.My testing of this device was consistently 118V output regardless of the input voltage (tested with 120V USA Mains power from the wall, as well as 200V, 220V, 230V, & 240V inputs from the selectable power supply).The DOACE 350W Voltage Converter will ALSO convert frequency. My testing was consistently 60.1Hz output regardless of the input frequency (tested with 50Hz & 60Hz inputs).As advertised, this device can be used with 100V to 240V 50Hz or 60Hz input and always outputs ~120V 60Hz. (I have not yet tested with 100V (Japan) input yet - hopefully I can update this review later once I have a different bench power supply.)NOTE ON LOAD:Load is listed as 350W max on the device (which I have NOT tested loads yet either).
