Replacement kettle after the previous one was no longer working after few yrs. Purchased exactly same model as had been very pleased with the efficiency and look of kettle !!! Now in use no issues working great looks more expensive and doesn't take up much work surface. Slim modern look , metal interior, boils quickly. More than happy with kettle at a great price !

I bought a similar Russell Hobbs kettle, and after about 3 months it suddenly started leaking from both the fill level windows! Looking at other reviews for that kettle, this is far from uncommon - pathetic, not to mention potentially dangerous, when it failed it was sat in a puddle, the base was soaked. I sent it back for a refund with no quibble from Amazon, and bought this one instead. It looks good, performs well, noise is about average, boils very fast. It loses one star from me simply because the single fill level gauge is behind the handle and not very easy to see when you are holding it under the tap, compared to others which have one or even two on the sides. But most importantly it (so far) does not leak!

I have had this kettle now for 5 months and I was very happy with it, but this morning it won't heat, it has power to it, andwhen clicking it on you can hear it switch inside but nothing happens. I have followed all the troubleshooting guides, and finally the manufacturers support site, but as it is not in English I have no idea what to do next. It seems I cannot get a replacement or my money back which I think is disgusting for a 5 month old kettle. I definitely expected it to last longer than that 😡

nice kettle but pull of top to refill

Was a great kettle to start with, the variable heat control worked well, but the black coating started peeling after 6 months, and now the heating element has gone after 18 months so it is in the bin, it also rusted at the top of the handle and is hard to clean as seen by the pic and the little filter that goes on the inside of the spout never fitted, I would not buy again

Really good for this price

Not great. Drips hot water when pouring and I constantly have to be careful the steam doesn’t catch my fingers when I pour it after boiling. Looks very nice but also can’t see how much water is in it without opening lid.

Looks fantastic and high quality, but there are two main problems: - quite often it pauses well before boiling for about 3 minutes, after which it will continue to boil the water. - unlike the last kettle (russell hobbs with same wattage) we had there is massive limescale buildup which is about impossible to remove. Seems to be due to how the heating element is build in to the bottom.

The kettle is leaking from the lid that's why it got 3 stars
