Pure Encapsulations Iron-C, 60 Capsules

I get full blood panels every year just to stay ahead of any issues that could arise before they cause issues. My last panel my ferritin was low but my iron was ok, so I started taking these every other day. I take 4 pills (60mg) at a time and I feel the results right away. It lowers my anxiety which is my only symptom of the low ferritin. I take zinc by the same brand on the off days. I’ve had zero side effects, no nausea, no constipation. I’m really happy about this because I am trying to avoid iron infusions.

This has been one of the easiest iron supplements to add to a daily routine. The capsules are small and easy to swallow, with no unpleasant metallic taste or lingering aftertaste. I really like that it combines iron with vitamin C in the same capsule, so there’s no need to take them separately. It also feels much gentler on the stomach than some other iron supplements I’ve tried, which is a huge plus. Great supplement! It quickly helped me with anemia problems and I got better very quickly. I really like that it has clean ingredients and comes in a kid-safe bottle. The tablets do not look like gummies, which is a great safety feature because kids are less likely to mistake them for candy. The tablets are small and easy to swallow, and do not have any taste. Great value for money!

Such a good vitamin! Recommended by my PCP for postpartum hair loss. Not meant to create growth so much as prevent further loss. However, a friend I recommended this to noticed new baby hairs a few weeks after starting this and overall better hair condition. Personally, I notice that this has a huge impact on my energy. If I don’t take it, I am exhausted. This isn’t a miracle but it helps and I make sure I don’t run out. I also had less illnesses this year while taking it. Not sure if related or not. I take this at night. Make sure not to take it with any dairy products or it won’t absorb as well.
