Its a small, light clock with simple functions that are easy to use. The red display has three settings of brightness - not very different in practice. But, in the dark the display is clear and isnt glaring. Its completely silent in operation. Its a good clock and I recommend it.

I can not describe how really really happy I am with this LED Alarm Clock. First of all, I already have a really nice battery operated alarm clock - the simple to use kind that you just turn the button/knob at the back to set the time and a separate button/knob to set the alarm. Easy to use and change time &/or alarm when needed. However I struggle to make out the time at night without turning on my torch, so just wanted something that I could use to see the time at night without having to use my torch.I did a lot of searching to find the right one, as I didn't need to use it as an alarm or to see the date etc, just the time if I woke in the middle of the night. I earmarked several different ones, but kept coming back to this one - Timegyro Chaorong LED Alarm Clock. Many I Looked at which indeed were cheaper, often couldn't be seen from an angle or from a different height to where it was to be placed and there were other things I was unsure would be suitable after reading all the reviews . So in the end having come back to this one after several days of searching, I decided to purchase it.I am so glad I did take the plunge and spend a bit more then I intended to as I could not be more pleased. The size is perfect and the time is very easy to read, from any angle and even from a distance when I put it across the room, even without my glasses on. I would point out that I only wanted this for night time viewing so as others have said, it may not be that suitable for someone who wants it in their bright daytime living room.Delivery was nice and speedy and I found it easy to use the instructions to set the clock. For what I wanted - a very easy to read battery operated clock for night time use - I could not have chosen anything better. Very very happy indeed.

Instructions for setting up this little digital clock are reasonably easy to follow but I would suggest keeping them in a safe place for future use as they are not easy to remember! No comment yet on battery life or durability as I have only owned this clock for a couple of weeks. The red light is quite nice at night, warm, cosy glow and the time is easy to read with no more effort than just turning your head.However I have only given it a four star rating for two reasons. The first being that it is not quite as shown online where the background looks as if it is black so that the numbers stand out. It does look like this during the night - but not in the daytime because the background is actually almost the same colour red as the numbers so that, even out of direct sunlight, the time can only be seen if you are close to the clock. As I originally bought this clock for daytime use I was very disappointed.The second reason is to do with the minute setting as these can only be altered in the forward direction. If there is any need to adjust backwards it has to be done the long way round by going forwards to reach the figure required.

This is a neat little digital clock, however I was only able to detect 2 levels of brightness with very little difference between them and I would have preferred it was less bright, otherwise happy with my purchase.

I purchased this as an alternative to using my phone alarm as having my phone by my bed at night was too distracting. This has been a great purchase and is very easy to use. I was worried that it would be unreliable, but it’s been super. The alarm starts softly, increasing in volume over a minute. A lovely gentle awakening 😊

Arrived quickly but Product was described as dimming automatically overnight. It didn’t and was far too bright, the neon green lit up the bedroom. Had to return it shame as it was lovely and small.

Liked the alarm clock. Good instructions and easy to set up.Very useful, l have since purchased a second one.

With all the radiation that an electric clock produces as you sleep beside it, I decided I needed one that does not emit radiation. This one is battery so when tested with my meter it emitted no radiation.

Compact, great LED display (with three choices for brightness), battery operated which lasts over a year (I haven't replaced it yet, but I use the lowest brightness). Don't use the alarm, but I tried it and it works. Easy to set and change the time when needed.

I literally searched for every available battery-operated digital alarm clock on Amazon. I believe this little gem is the only one whose digital brightness is "old-school" (like your 1990s cable box display bright) bright—meaning that it's 2 brightness levels are both totally unobtrusive (meaning NO eye-scorchingly artifically bright alien-like LED/laser show shine). These days you are very hard pressed to find a clock that has normal, old school, and rather pleasing brightness.The normal brightness of this clock is perfect, and even more perfect is the slightly dimmer second setting it offers. I can easily read the time from over 20 feet away...even though the actual size of the digits is probably less than an inch...the display reads clear as a bell, and the red color is easy on the eyes to see in the dark and daytime too.Overall size of this clock is really small, but it presents an elegant and minimal, and perfectly functional design.Final plus is that it uses two of the most ubiquitous type double AA batteries.Yah, in the good ole days this clock would have cost you $9.95 at the most...but it is what it is for 16 bucks now. I think it's a Win though so go for it if you want to avoid overbright cheap LED light and want a minimal design straight up alarm clock.

It's a nice straight forward functional clock & works well so far. It does what it is supposed to do. One star deducted for its price.
