Clairol Nice'n Easy Tone+Gloss Semi Permanent Hair Dye - 500/765 Medium Brown

Very easy to use. Good coverage. Covered grey somewhat. Lasted about 6 washes before grey shone though, but expected as only a semi-permanent. Great price.

This hair colour is amazing. I've been using it for years. It's kind to your scalp as it doesn't contain any ammonia. It's also semi permanent but I only use it every 3 months. It covers brilliantly. Why would you discontinue a product that works so well. Amazon seem to be the only place you can get this product. I tried Boots and Superdrug but neither had medium brown 765/500. That why I've bought 2. Will do me for christmas too. When done the colour Is so natural looking. The conditioner you get with it is very rich and luxurious.

Having used this for many many years as it would leave my long brown locks shiny and soft, they have sadly changed the formula! It's now awful! Colour is not the same, makes your hair course and lack lustre. What a shame Clairol. PLEASE RESTORE TO ORIGINAL FORMULA AND COLOUR

I have greys and this has covered longer than the other brands I’ve tried. I have bought it a second time.

quite a dark brown but blended well and didn't dry my hair out

The actual colour itself is really nice, if a tad dark, it is easy to apply and the instructions are clear etc. However, it did not cover 90% of the greys - which was the main reason for purchasing. I have dyed my own hair plenty of times, I sectioned it and paid particular attention to the most affected areas. So I do not believe this to be an application error. If I didn't have any greys to cover I would purchase again, but do not recommend if your main aim is grey coverage.
