Very versatile holds the iPad nicley

Overall I like this product very much! 1) This this works great for reading lyrics at a band rehearsal or during a recording session - I believe this will do me proud when on stage as well, for my set list, lyrics, and even stage notes. 2) This also works great when controlling my footswitch/virtual guitar & bass amp cabinet device as well. I don't need a large laptop to lug around if I want to plug up my guitar and then be able to switch guitar cabinets, from my tablet. This is such a great tool for a music artist in particular, but I can see it work if you're an I.T. person and have certain tablet sized testing equipment (network analyzers and such), and not have to hold it. Just attach it to a pole or rack, and monitor away while drinking coffee. The quality of this tablet device is good and solid, but I would pay an extra 15 bucks or so, for a more rugged one (hence 4 stars) - especially if your a music artist doing a lot of touring or you need to bring it on other "more demanding" environments - for my purposes currently, it's fantastic! *** NOTE - tablet in the pictures posted, is a 10 inch tablet with a rubberized protective cover ***

I have used this tablet/phone holder for awhile now and have not had any problems. It is pretty sturdy and after opening and closing it several times at a twice weekly band rehearsal, it is just as tight as before. Easy to adjust to various sizes and I especially dig the I can push it up close to my mic stand so that it is out of my way. I use the old school round heavy bottom mic stand, not a boom, so having a holder that comes out too far makes it hard to sing over and even harder to still read, so this is nice. I would recommend. Great bracket for securing an iPad to any circular pole.

This device is of good quality and mounts securely to the mic stand. I have a Samsung tablet with a protective jacket, unfortunately, the protector makes the tablet to this to be held securely by this unit. I won't use the tablet without the cover, so I will have to find some other use for this. Keep this in mind, if you are using a protector, get a clamp with enough depth to allow for it.

Well I did not realize that the Mike stand that I purchased with this product included one as well. SomImsold it to one of mu musian friends.
