RockJam Electric Guitar Kit with Amp, Bag, Whammy, Strap, Lead, Spare Strings & Lessons

We have been fascinated by the Rocksmith Playstation game/tuition for a long time and recently bite the bullet to buy the game and a cheap electric guitar. Just to see if it is something for us. And it plays pretty much out of the box.This is a good guitar for starters. The black ones were sold out when I placed the order, so opted for a red one, yet I received a balk one - just keep that in mind. The set is not expensive but also not the cheapest we could find. It is well produced and looks the part. Also it comes complete with an amplifier stings, picks. The guitar holds nice and feels heavy. In short I was very pleased with it when it arrived. Even impressed. But I’m sure more experienced rockers will find its design crude perhaps lacking some elegance (mock the plastic appearance of the plastic and button/dials), and the miniature amplifier lacking wattage. But it is more than adequate for our purposes and then I need. I assume for anyone who want to learn electric gutta plain .I should say that with our family I’m the only one who is a very modest acoustical guitar player, knowing a decent selection of vital chords and able to play a wide range of songs with that, (form sheet) but I’m an guitar autodidact an certainly do not master any of the more advanced skills, as I never had much time to practice. Yet my wife has been learning to play this guitar as well as did my oldest daughter.I snapped one of the strings during the initial tuning but this was easily replaced with the included spare set.Can’t really fault it and would recommend for beginning players and children.

Great little electric guitar. Bought for our 12 year old. He loves it, getting on well with it. Good size for him, not too big or too small. Strings don’t hurt fingers. Only downside is the amp is rubbish. Blew a fuse straight away and doesn’t work very well. Not very loud, not great quality.

Bought this for my son,arrived on time and was pleasantly surprised of the size.its a good guitar for beginners,my son is 9 and he loves it. It sounds good,he managed to tune it very easily and although he plays it rough it still didn't break any cords.Happy with the purchase

Very good guitar and kit for the price, nice sound although amp connector was a bit loose and had to bend the contact slightly to stop lead falling out of guitar socket.

Bought this as learning guitar was on my bucket list. I'm 54 and have a disability of having no right hand. After watching a girl with the same disability play guitar on YouTube I decided to go for it and looked around for a cheap guitar that I could afford to buy and stick in the back of a cupboard if I couldn't use it. I've been practicing every day since I got it and improved very quickly.The guitar itself once setup (watch a YouTube tutorial) appears to me to play just fine and the amplifier that comes with it is plenty loud enough to annoy the neighbors if you choose to do so.The kit comes with everything you need to start playing.My wife got me an thing called an amp modeller which replicates the tones of some very expensive amplifiers and effects pedals which plays through the amp you get in the kit. With this added the sound of this guitar kit as absolutely awesome in my opinion.I would highly recommend this guitar kit and if you are happy to take a chance on buying one of the Amazon used ones like I did you will possibly get a brand new one like I did for £64.

Nice for a starter with an Amp and all you need good value for money but I did get it in sale

The package came and everything was Included that should have been, and packaged very well. I bought new as it was a birthday present for my daughter, and it looked amazing when she opened it. When she went to tune it, two of the strings would not tune. As it was her birthday we took it to a repair shop, rather than have to wait to return it and receive another one, and they had to close a gap that was present between the main part and the handle, also having to fix the truss. The repair man did say it was a good guitar, just put together poorly. Whilst we were able to get this fixed quickly, it was still very disappointing and stressful when I had bought new, not to mention the additional cost.

The guitar has a finish like a Fender Strat and is absolutely great at this price . The company's origin is UK, but made in China, as usual. The Combo Offer with the RockJam 10 W mini -amp in 7K price tag is unbelievable, but the amp could have been better- there is a constant buzzing noise when the Overdrive is switched on. The guitar strap is also flimsy and may not last long. Otherwise the entire pacgkage is value for money for a beginner and it arrived right on time without any damage. Great! Go for it, guys!

Deze gitaar mag ik wel een absolute miskoop noemen.Een fatsoenlijke kwaliteit gitaar bouwen voor deze prijs kan bijna niet, maar deze is wel erg slecht.Allereerst: De headstock: De pennen van de mechanieken vallen er spontaan uit. Zie foto. Ze kunnen er ook niet meer in, want de mechanieken kunnen niet gedemonteerd worden.Dan de hals zelf: Deze is erg dik. Voor iemand met kleine handjes moeilijk bespeelbaar.Maar wat erger is: de frets zitten los. Dit kun je oplossen met een paar tubetjes secondenlijm.Helaas dient ook het fretwerk gevlakt te worden. Als je dat moet laten doen door een vakman ben je meer kwijt dan dat deze gitaar kost.Dan de pickups: Deze hebben een zeer lage output, ofwel ze klinken erg zacht.Kortom: geen beste gitaar en zeker niet geschikt voor een beginner, wat toch de doelgroep lijkt voor een gitaar in deze prijsklasse.Als decoratie aan de muur is ie leuk.
